Reopening its doors on November 20 following an extensive two-year renovation, discover what’s awaiting you at the entirely redesigned Eden Rock – St Barths in the Caribbean
Grab the suncream, winter sun is calling. One of the most iconic hotels in the Caribbean, Eden Rock – St Barths is set to reopen its doors this month following an extensive two-year renovation.
Fully transformed after the devastating impact of 2017’s Hurricane Irma, on November 20 the property will reveal its complete transformation and restructure – including new rooms and suites, as well as a new bar and restaurant and spa concept.
Owner Jane Matthews has been central within the Design Group, which includes the hugely talented Martin Brudnizki Design Studio London and Architectonik St Barths.
The entire hotel has been redesigned a fresh look and feel, while preserving the heritage and incomparable atmosphere for which Eden Rock is loved. Every nook and cranny has been given an entirely new appearance – with plenty to explore.
Three new rooms with sea views have also been built on top of the Sand Bar area, while three additional suites – two of which come complete with private swimming pools – have been built on the Rock.
The Sand Bar will continue to be at the gastronomic heart of the hotel, with the menu remaining in the highly capable hands of culinary maestro chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Offering environmentally-conscious cuisine, dishes will focus on minimising food waste, with local produce and fresh fish at the forefront of menus.
The new Rémy Salon and Bar has been named after Eden Rock’s original owner, paying tribute to his pioneering spirit. Adding to the relaxation will be the sparkling new Eden Rock Beach Bar, well as a new sun deck with shaded loungers.
As well as revamped interiors, guests can admire the exquisite new Eden Spa, positioned inside the top of the Rock.
In partnership with acclaimed local brand Ligne St Barth, the new ‘yacht-on-land’ themed lounge and three discreet wellness cabins will offer guests an unforgettable Caribbean spa journey.
Opening November 20 2019. Rates start from €900 (currently approx. £775) per night, breakfast included, + 5% local taxes. For more information, visit oetkercollection.com
