Designed to celebrate the very best of Great British breaks, guests can choose from a beachside staycation, some coastal downtime or a hit of high-octane fun.

Owned and run by the family behind the iconic Adnams brewery and distillery, The Swan overlooks Southwold’s lively market square and is a favourite amongst both locals and guests alike with its colourful interiors and laid-back style.

Ideal for aquatic-loving adventurers, new experiences include Southwold’s only gourmet beach hut afternoon tea; stand-up paddle boarding, guided kayaking and canoeing tours; wild swimming in the North Sea, kite surfing at nearby Kessingland Beach and guided walks exploring the Suffolk surrounds.

Package one: Butlers on the Beach
For the foodies, ‘Butlers on the Beach’ are now on hand to organise picnics and afternoon tea in one of Southwold’s sought-after beach huts; featuring the finest local produce from the hotel’s recently launched Still Room menu such as Scorched Mackerel, Mackerel Tartar and Kimchi and Suffolk Loin of Lamb with braised shoulder croquet.

Afternoons will be spent crabbing, amber hunting, exploring Southwold Pier or cooling down with a legendary Harris & James ice cream.

As the sun begins to set, The Swan’s butlers will organize fish and chips on the beach from the ‘Little Fish & Chip shop’ followed by VIP tickets to Electric Picture Palace in Southwold town, a mid-twentieth century-style cinema showing Richard Curtis’ upcoming Suffolk-based musical, Yesterday, throughout the summer months.
