Swiss Bliss: Badrutt’s Palace Hotel Opens For Summer Season

Putting the swish in Swiss, Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in St. Moritz is welcoming the summer season with gastronomic playground Paradiso Mountain Club & Restaurant, exclusive Tower Penthouse Apartment access, and wellness wonders from Palace Wellness

When Switzerland calls, say yes. Returning for the summer season, the iconic Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in glorious St. Moritz is inviting guests to explore soaring mountain scenery, delicious culinary opportunities and of course, opulent alpine activities before autumn rolls around.

Ideal for sun-drenched days, head to Paradiso Mountain Club & Restaurant, which is making its first summer season debut under Badrutt’s Palace Hotel’s management. With an emphasis on sourcing local and focus on total quality and traceability, Paradiso’s menu is inspired by the invigorating aspects of the mountain lifestyle St. Moritz is known for: an abundance of delicious food, fresh air, and bright sunshine.

From traditional alpine classics with a twist to mountain comfort food, Paradiso’s unmissable culinary moments have been carefully crafted by Badrutt’s Palace Hotel’s talented chefs, Maxime Luvara and Loris Di Santo and are all served with a side of panoramic Alpine views.

Menu highlights include the Paradiso crudité basket to share, Panzanella salad with heirloom tomatoes and apple-cider vinaigrette, Swiss beef tartare with pommes allumettes, and grilled sole fillet with herbs, sautéed asparagus, artichokes and Roseval potatoes.  When it comes to sweet tooth cravings, guests will be delighted to learn of Paradiso’s partnership with the iconic Hotel Sacher in Vienna to offer freshly made Sacher cakes and indulgent Viennese coffee specialties.

There’s plenty to explore in the Great Indoors too. Available to palace guests for the first summer season in 30 years, splash out and book the iconic Tower Penthouse Apartment. Situated in the fresh air and freedom of the Engadin Valley, those looking to welcome summer in style can take up residence in the three-storey hotel suite and drink in unobstructed lake views over spoiling breakfasts.

Showcasing four individually decorated bedrooms each with a bathroom en-suite, an elegant living room, and two spacious balconies, this is the undeniable hotspot choice for an unforgettable break.

However, St. Moritz summers don’t stop at luxurious long lunches and lofty lakesides views.  Whether it’s kitesurfing on Lake Silvaplana and sailing on Lake St Moritz, or traversing some of Switzerland’s most beautiful nature trails by bike or foot, the array of outdoor activities accessible on their doorstep is limitless.

With all of that adventuring, a little pampering never goes amiss – head to Palace Wellness, a hub of rejuvenation and relaxation that offers an array of expert treatments to soothe and restore.

What’s more, throughout the summer, guests of Badrutt’s Palace will be treated to exclusive access to St. Moritz’s illustrious calendar of events peppered throughout the season.  Throughout July, and for its 15th year, the renowned Festival Da Jazz returns with open air concerts in Lej da Staz and performances in the Palace’s very own Embassy Ballroom.

Come 1 August Badrutt’s Palace will once again celebrate Swiss National Day in St. Moritz style with a lavish gala dinner complete with Swiss specialty menu and traditional music.  From 22 – 28 August, the most dazzling young athletes in the surfing scene will return to shimmering Silvaplanersee for not-to-be-missed water sports event, Engadinwind, ensuring there is something for every kind of Palace guest this summer.
