Join 24 of the globe’s most impressive chefs for the return of Northcote’s renowned Obsession event
Ready to unleash your inner Obsession? Taking place from Friday 24th January to Sunday 9th February, world-renowned culinary festival Obsession is returning to Northcote in Lancashire for its impressive 20th anniversary.
A total gourmet extravaganza, 2020’s event will see 24 world-class chefs with 24 Michelin stars between them attend the culinary action, with a line up set to feature the likes of legends Rick Stein, Brian Turner, James Martin, Ken Hom and many more.
This year, several chefs will cook in pairs or trios – seeing combinations of chefs cook together on a one-off, unmissable basis.
As well as the best of British, a number of chefs from further afield are set to take to the culinary stage. Northcote will be hosting Jacob Jan Boerma of 3-Michelin-starred Restaurant De Leest in Vassen, The Netherlands on Sunday 2nd February, as well as two of Portugal’s most successful chefs: Dieter Koschina (Vila Joya, The Algarve) and Hans Neuner (Vila Vita, Porches) on Sunday 26th January.

First conjured by Nigel Haworth and Craig Bancroft in 2001, Obsession began and continues to be a celebration of the best of the culinary world.
