The Garden: Where Nature Meets Luxury
The Montcalm Experience flows through every aspect of the hotel, with a central theme celebrating The Garden – a homage to the site’s ancient forest origins and Georgian garden design heritage.
Including floral motifs and nature-inspired elements, this narrative weaves through three distinct yet harmonious aspects:
• The Art of Play: Inspired by Georgian garden design, celebrating the cycles of nature
• A Conversation Piece: Echoing Georgian-era paintings of intimate garden and domestic settings
• The Salon: Honouring the intellectual exchanges of Georgian salons, such as Elizabeth Montagu’s Blue Stockings Society.
Inviting Guest Rooms and Signature Suites

The hotel offers 151 thoughtfully crafted guest rooms, including three exceptional signature suites.
The crown jewel, the Botanical Suite, offers London’s only fully private hotel suite experience, complete with its own entrance. An artistic takeover by Camille Rousseau brings The Garden theme to life through immersive artwork.
The Presidential Suite pays homage to Elizabeth Montagu’s legendary salon culture, featuring rare works by Joan Miró, while the Royal Suite houses an expertly curated collection of lithographs and modern artworks. Each room features luxurious Frette bed linens and Penhaligon’s bathroom amenities.
Decadent dining
Of course, don’t forget the dining. The hotel’s charismatic dining venue, Lilli by Akira Back, offers a modern take on British cuisine with global influences. The menu masterfully blends Michelin-starred chef Akira Back’s Korean heritage with contemporary Japanese techniques, celebrating seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
The destination bar features a dramatic hand-painted abstract ceiling mural and bespoke chandeliers, creating an evolving atmosphere from morning light to evening ambiance.
A haven of wellness

The YĀTRĀ SIGNATURE spa offers a holistic wellness experience, inspired by the ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and London’s multicultural heritage.
This retreat features a serene plunge pool, heat experiences, and four treatment rooms, complemented by soundscapes curated by MindFidelity that echo British woodlands. Signature treatments developed with Mauli Rituals and QMS Medicosmetics provide a holistic approach to wellbeing, alongside yoga and meditation spaces.
