Kimpton has just opened the Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove, a 99-room hotel on California’s breath-taking Monterey Peninsula
Ideal for fans of the Big Little Lies hit TV show, Kimpton has just opened doors to the Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove, a boutique hotel located in Pacific Grove, California.
The hotel is situated half a mile from the Pacific Ocean, among historic homes and near local landmarks including Monarch Grove Sanctuary and Point Pinos Lighthouse.
The four-story property features 99 rooms and suites, some with private balconies and select suites with fireplaces. The architecture is described as Spanish Revival-inspired, and the interiors were designed by San Francisco-based studio Narrative. The hotel includes curated artwork from regional artists.
Amenities at Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove include a firelit courtyard, a fitness studio, and meeting and event spaces. Additional features are in-room yoga mats, wellness kits, pet-friendly accommodations, and complimentary bicycles.
For a dose of rejuvenation, the hotel offers daily wellness programming in partnership with Monterey Bay Moves, which includes yoga, sound baths, and fitness sessions.
The property provides Kimpton’s standard morning coffee service and an evening social hour with cocktails and light bites.
The hotel’s on-site restaurant, The Caledonian, opened alongside the property. Led by Chef Aaron Rayor, The Caledonian offers a modern American menu with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant serves breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and dinner from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The bar operates Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Daily happy hours are held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove joins other recent Kimpton hotel openings, including Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, and Kimpton KAFD Riyadh.
