An exhilarating weekend filled with Michelin-starred dinners, impressive cycle rides through the stunning Champion region and even the chance to take an Aston Martin for a spin, here’s everything you need to know about this upcoming must-book event


Designed to combine the worlds of both world-class cycling and fantastic gastronomy, LeBlanq is an exciting new launch organised by the likes of multi Michelin-starred Raymond Blanc and Claud Bosi, with five-time Olympic Gold medallist and Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggens also involved in the project.

Launching its first ‘joyride’ this August, with several set to follow in autumn, keen cyclists (and gourmands). are invited to join a tour across the stunning vineyards of Champagne with attendees staying at the exquisite Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa. One thing’s for sure, this is one weekend you won’t want to miss.

With the days set into ‘stages’ from August 20 – 22 2021, each filled with edible excitement and pedal-powered action, here’s some of the highlights awaiting you in France’s fizziest region this summer:

1 An exclusive dinner with Ashley Palmer-Watts, ex-Fat Duck Group
On day one, enjoy a 5-course celebration of the culinary identity of Champagne by Ashley Palmer-Watts to welcome you to the action. Working with a selection of the regions best producers, he’ll showcase, course by course, the ingredients that make Champagne a world renowned culinary destination.

2 Breakfast like a champion
Indulge in a true breakfast of champions for the rides ahead. Created in collaboration between our team and a professional nutritionist, guests will enjoy fine-dining fuelling each day of the weekend.

3 Serious joyrides
Enjoy the ultimate pleasure ride across the rolling vineyards of Champagne, side by side with a team of cycling legends, and led by sleek Aston Martin guide cars. A ride for all abilities, with four distances ranging from 75km to 160km, they’ll also make a few stops along the way to taste some of the regions best producers.

4 A Tour de Feast
One thing’s for sure – you’ll certainly work up an appetite. Devour a 7-course homage to the one and only Eddy Merckx. A one-off collaboration between Ashley Palmer-Watts and Raymond Blanc OBE, celebrating 7 of Eddy’s greatest moments on a plate. Includes accompanied pairings by Champagne Laurent Perrier’s master sommeliers.

5 Tales of a Yellow Jersey
One the final night, make the most of a fireside chat with two cycling greats, Eddy Merckx and Sean Yates. Unwind and enjoy stories from the tour, with accompanied whisky and wine tastings.

6 THE 1988 TT
Clock your time against the legends on a 19.88km time trial. Inspired by Sean’s 1988 Tour de France TT win, this is your chance to test your speed or just enjoy Champagne’s most picturesque road in blissful solitude. And while you wait your turn, take a test ride in the brand new Aston Martin DBX.
