From beats in the sky at the highest bar in Venice to al-fresco dining with live music and a brand new menu for Bacaromi restaurant, the canal-side property is the ultimate setting in which to enjoy an authentic taste of the city during the warmer months.
A modern Venetian masterpiece steeped in stories, the historically-listed building has been exquisitely restored with a series of recent refurbishments including sophisticated deluxe rooms and spacious elegant suites – some offering guests enviable views of picture-perfect Venice.
1 Taste & Soul: Al-Fresco Dining by the Lagoon at Aromi & Bacaromi
Hilton Molino Stucky Venice will take al-fresco dining to the next level this season with a series of lagoon-side live music events at Aromi and Bacaromi restaurants. Taking place from 7.30-9.30pm on the restaurants’ romantic terraces, diners will be mesmerised by the powerful and intense voice of Luca Bright and the deep, rhythmic style of Michele Bonivento on the piano and keyboard as they enjoy a veritable Venetian feast.
Providing a culinary journey that starts from the lagoon and travels throughout the Mediterranean, Aromi serves up a range of gourmet dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients expertly combined with oriental spices created by Executive Chef Luca Nania and accompanied by fine wines selected by Maître Burrafato. Bacaromi, which unveils a new menu this Summer, serves up traditional Venetian flavours revisited and reimagined within an informal and welcoming setting.

3 Bacaromi Restaurant’s new seasonal menu
This summer, Chef Luca Nania and his talented brigade will serve up a slice of authenticity at Bacaromi, a contemporary restaurant take on the typical Venetian bacaro (a simple neighbourhood restaurant, where locals catch up over cicchetti and a glass or two of wine). The new menu offers Chef Nania’s interpretations of Venice’s best-loved dishes, from handmade pasta and creamy risotto to the finest cuts of meat, all served alongside a carefully-curated selection of local wines.
Rustic, characterful décor evokes the welcoming atmosphere of a bacaro as soon as diners set foot in Baracomi, with antiques and curiosities adorning the walls and colourful mosaic tiled flooring. The original cast-iron pillars and exposed brick walls of the former flour mill conjure a sense of yesteryear while unique artisan lamps provide warmth and conviviality. During the Summer months, guests can opt to dine al-fresco on Bacaromi’s magnificent canal-side outdoor terrace.
Chef Nania has created a mouth-watering new menu, with signature dishes including: Selezione di cicchetti Veneziani, a typical Venetian tapas-style snack, Trancio del pescatore al forno con pomodorini e olive taggiasche, an oven-baked catch of the day served with cherry tomatoes and Taggiasca olives. Bigoli di pasta fresca in salsa Venezian is one of Venice’s most-loved dishes; this homemade pasta with Venetian sauce is prepared the traditional way – just like Nonna would! Guests of Bacaromi must save room to try Chef Luca’s Tiramisù – a traditional Italian sweet treat, perhaps paired with a dessert wine or Italian digestif!
