From new waterfront dining experiences to sunset hikes and outdoor workouts, here’s what award-winning Ikos Resorts has unveiled for the 2022 season
Dreaming of your next sun-filled getaway? Ikos Resorts, the award-winning, all-inclusive luxury resort brand, has announced an exciting expansion of its high-end all-inclusive offering, available from April 1st when the 2022 season begins.
Named as The World’s No. 1 Luxury All Inclusive Resorts in 2021, the pioneering hospitality group is responding to growing demand for the luxury Ikos offering in European destinations, following the successful opening of Ikos Andalusia in Marbella, Spain last year.
For 2022, Ikos Andalusia features everything from an enhanced kids club to the property’s adventure-driven Golden Mile bike experience. What’s more, a new alfresco dining experience can be found at Ikos Oceania and outdoor workouts are now offered at Ikos Olivia and Ikos Andalusia, whilst the ongoing premier football coaching partnership with Football Escapes has been extended to Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki, Greece, as well as Ikos Andalusia.
With plenty to enjoy, here’s what’s new for the 2022 season:
Upgraded Ikos Andalusia
Between the Spanish mountains and Mediterranean Sea, five-star Ikos Andalusia opened its doors to guests for the first time in 2021, marking the fifth Ikos Resorts property and the first outside Greece with 393 rooms, an array of heated swimming pools and extensive lush gardens. Now entering its second year of operation, Ikos prepares to reopen with new additions:
1 New kids club, Crèche and daily programmes
From 1st July, Ikos Andalusia introduces Heroes Village, a brand-new state-of-the-art kids club combining new indoor and outdoor spaces, all operated in line with UK Ofsted standards. With exciting new daily activities throughout the week, especially designed for Ikos Andalusia in 2022, kids will enjoy the popular Arts and crafts factory, cooking masterclasses and eco explorations, inspiring them to take care of the planet while exploring the nature around them.
2 The Golden Mile experience continues
One for the adventure lovers – the complimentary Ikos Golden Mile Experience offers guests the opportunity to bike or hike, independently or with a group, to the old town of Estepona via a variety of scenic routes directly from the resort.
Stretching over 5 miles along the Costa del Sol with views to Gibraltar and, on a clear day, the northern coast of Africa, guests can use carefully curated Ikos bike routes or trek with a guide. Alongside the Ikos Local Discovery scheme, the experience is designed to help visitors live like a local and explore the art, culture, and architecture surrounding the resort.
New waterfront dining experiences
Dreamy views and ocean dining. The magnificent Ikos Oceania in Halkidiki, Greece is now more impressive than ever with a fabulous new restaurant opening on the beach in 2022. Following an impressive makeover of the Ikos Oceania beach bar, this season guests can enjoy all day and night al fresco dining, accompanied by breathtaking views of Mt. Olympus.
For guests who like to keep up with their fitness routine on their holidays, Ikos Olivia and Ikos Andalusia welcome guests to new outdoor gyms, which are the latest exciting additions to the world-class array of sports and activities available on site.
Football Escapes at Ikos Olivia and Ikos Andalusia
Ikos Resorts is pleased to announce that its collaboration with the world-class Football Escapes will be available to more guests in 2022 as it expands to offer expert and celebrity-led sessions at both Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki, Greece and Ikos Andalusia in Spain.
