Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit has announced the completion of an extensive $30 million renovation project involving its Master, Parlor, and Grand Terrace suites. The renovation, which took 12 months to complete, focused on updating the design and functionality of the suites.
The vast redesigned suites, each exceeding 1,000 square feet, now feature a soothing colour scheme of sand, beige, cream, and warm wood tones, with green accents. Materials used in the renovation include polished stone, wood paneling, textured upholstery, and organic fabrics. Local craftsmanship is evident in the textiles and woodwork incorporated into the suite designs.
Sustainability was a key part of this project. The renovation utilized energy-efficient lighting, durable materials, and eco-friendly finishes. Partnerships with local suppliers were established to reduce transportation impact and support responsible sourcing.
Another key focus was improving functionality within the suites. Improvements include upgraded seating areas, ergonomic furniture, enhanced bedding, and increased storage capacity. Technological upgrades were made to lighting controls and guest-device connectivity, adding a modern touch alongside the beautiful new suites.
The resort offers rates starting at $533 USD per adult, based on double occupancy. This rate includes accommodations, meals at specialty restaurants, beverages, in-suite service, taxes, and gratuities.
