Set to open later this year, Fairmont have announced its third UK property – the prestigious Fairmont Windsor Park in Berkshire

Regal escapes are calling. Leading augmented hospitality group Accor and Arora Group, one of the UK’s leading hotel owner-operators, have announced the signing of a prestigious luxury hotel, Fairmont Windsor Park.

The hotel is currently undergoing a substantial multi-million pound redevelopment and is set to open its doors to guests in the second half of 2020, featuring over 200 rooms and suites, as well as a pampering spa.

The hotel will be the third Fairmont property in the United Kingdom, joining The Savoy in London, a Fairmont Managed Hotel, and Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland.

Ideal for culture buffs, the hotel is located adjacent to Windsor Great Park and Savill Gardens, located on the former site of Savill Court Hotel and Spa, which was owned and operated by Arora Group.

The site is being completely redeveloped to create a property in line with Fairmont’s globally-recognised standards.

The Windsor hotel promises to redefine luxury in the UK hospitality market, embracing the eclectic lifestyle of its location. As well as over 200 rooms and suites, abodes will include a Royal Suite with exclusive access to a private section of the spa and wellness area.

On the wellness front, the hotel will feature an impressive 2,500 square metre spa, curated by leading industry experts featuring both an indoor lap pool and outdoor vitality pool.  Guests can enjoy treatment rooms, a salt room, Hammam and a Japanese foot spa with views over the courtyard and fire pit.

Don’t forget the gourmet aspects either. Facilities will include a tea lounge (it is located right next to the Queen’s home, after all) as well as a specialist dining restaurant and a Champagne bar serving Champagne and wine from specially selected vineyards around the world.

An all-day dining venue offering dishes prepared with locally sourced ingredients is also included in the dining line-up, incorporating a private dining space and a gin bar.

Marc Dardenne, Chief Operating Officer, Luxury Brands, Accor Europe, said: “Through strategic investment, exceptional brand management and focused operations, Accor has established itself as a leader in the global luxury hotel market with a dedicated portfolio that includes many of the world’s most prestigious brands.

We feel Fairmont is an ideal match for this remarkable hotel asset and look forward to showcasing all the brand has to offer in historic Windsor.”
