Get your morning off to a pear-fect start with this indulgent pear and tahini porridge

This is a beautiful breakfast that has several levels of flavour, not to mention a rich diversity of nutrients

• 1 tablespoon tahini
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 pear
• 50g porridge oats
• 350ml milk
• 1 teaspoon honey

1 Mix the tahini and vanilla extract together.
Cut the pear in half lengthways. Dice one half and cut the other half lengthways into slices.
2 Place the oats, milk, honey and diced pear in a pan and simmer for 4–5 minutes, then transfer to 2 bowls.
3 Fan the pear slices on top of the porridge and drizzle over the vanilla tahini to serve.
