1 New Cinq Mondes Spa at The Beau-Rivage Palace, Lausanne: opening as soon as operational

The Beau-Rivage Palace has opened its new spa facility featuring a new aesthetic and architectural dimension, illustrated in particular by a patio area, finely crafted like a work of art; a haven of exceptional sensory experiences.
Designed by Alexandre Pierart of Paris-based Suprem Architectures and spread over 16,000 square feet, the spa features nine treatment rooms, a fitness room, a yoga studio, two heated pools and a restaurant all overlooking Lake Geneva.
New features include an expansive double suite, a reinvented relaxation room and a yoga and meditation room. Cinq Mondes Spa brings together a wide range of cutting-edge and ceremonial treatments inspired by great traditions of wellbeing from around the world.
The new Cinq Mondes spa at the Beau-Rivage Palace is the first pillar of the “Wellness Experience” philosophy designed by Nathalie Seiler-Hayez, General Manager, whose overall essence will resonate throughout the hotel by the end of 2021.

4 Unique to the region: The hottest thermal spring in Switzerland at Lavey-les-Bains

At a temperature of 62°, Switzerland’s hottest thermal spring gushes from the ground in Lavey-les-Bains at the foot of the Alps, the location of the Lavey-les-Bains thermal spa. Guests can relax in the outdoor pool surrounded by nature, admiring the stunning mountain views, and take advantage of the spa’s range of wellness facilities.
The thermal spa has two pools, including a 1,000 m2 outdoor pool, maintained at a temperature of 32 to 36°, including a jacuzzi, jets, waterfall, counter current lane or bubbling water beds. The poolside Nordic pavilion has a sauna or snow grotto for guests to enjoy, while the Serenity Lodge has a wood’s lamp relaxation or colour therapy room. The Oriental Area includes a hammam, Turkish baths and water fountains.

The Canton of Vaud and the towns of Lausanne, Montreux and Vevey are easy to reach from London with direct flights from airlines including Swiss Air, British Airways and EasyJet. Genève Aéroport also has its own train station, with access to all parts of the region. Zurich, Basel and Bern also have international airports for the region with flights from the UK.
