The London EDITION will be hosting a live wedding screening and the Royal Scandal Water special at the reservations-only Punch Room. To mark the occasion, the award winning team behind the Punch Room bar have created a menu of quintessentially British treats to be enjoyed whilst watching the festivities unfold.

The Royal Scandal Water will include a glass of Ruinart champagne, as well as traditional delights including Victoria Sponge, English Trifle, Cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches and Berners Tavern’s much celebrated pork pie.

The offering will be complimented by English breakfast or Earl Grey tea before a glass of Punch Room’s Regency Punch is served as a toast to the occasion.

In celebration of the Royal Wedding this May, Dorchester Collection’s luxury country house hotel and spa, Coworth Park has launched a Royal Wedding Afternoon Tea.

With ingredients sourced from the finest British suppliers, the afternoon tea will include finger sandwiches (with the roast beef sourced from nearby Windsor Estate and the eggs taken from Royal Legbar), traditional scones and delectable pastries fit for royalty.

The pastries include a chocolate brownie tart with salted caramel (as the Royals are all rumoured to love chocolate), as well as a lemon and elderflower drizzle cake, the flavour of Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake.

An Earl Grey tea mousse with apricot and vanilla will also be served as a nod to HRH The Queen and her favourite tea. A glass of Windsor Estate sparkling wine will also accompany the tea.

6 L’Ami Malo


L’Ami Malo, a new contemporary crêperie in the heart of Spitalfields, is celebrating the forthcoming royal nuptials the Breton way.  Head chef and classically-trained patissier, William Guillemot, has created a stunning multi-tiered crêpe wedding cake with high quality ingredients and the good news is he’s giving everyone dining at L’Ami Malo on the ‘big day’ a complimentary, celebratory slice.

Named after St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle where Meghan and Harry will tie the knot, Le Gâteau de Crêpes Saint Georges features layer upon layer of crêpes mille feuille-style, filled with raspberry cream on a vanilla and rose sponge base.

The cake is finished off with seasonal berries and red and white roses in keeping with the St George’s flag and England’s patron saint.

Roast are launching a limited edition Royal Menu to celebrate the upcoming nuptials.  Feast on roasted butterflied king prawns with garlic butter to start, followed by roast baby chicken with maple glazed bacon and gravy for main (in a nod to the royal couple’s infamous engagement) and Strawberry Eton Mess with rose petals to finish, paying homage to Harry’s education.

8 The Stafford London

The Stafford London in St James’s will be screening the wedding in The American Bar, The Lounge, and The Game Bird restaurant. Even better, they will be offering special dishes and cocktails on the day, including Grilled Dover sole with Dubonnet sauce and Boîtes des fraises Reine Elizabeth.

The five-star hotel’s classic afternoon tea will also be given a celebratory twist, with sandwiches including Jam “pennies” and Coronation chicken, and sweet treats such as Victoria sponge with strawberry jam.

9 Bluebird

The celebrated Chelsea restaurant has spread its wings to the west and opened Bluebird Café at the Television Centre White City, one of London’s hottest new developments.

To celebrate the Royal Wedding, the already buzzing year-round terrace (which opens out onto a piazza overlooked by the Television Centre’s famous circular core) will be decorated with traditional British bunting, whilst a special party brunch menu will feature British classics such as Eton Mess and The Ultimate Breakfast Butty alongside celebratory dishes such as Lobster Benedict.

Guests can raise a glass (or two) to the happy couple by opting for the bottomless brunch menu for £15 per person.

Diners can celebrate the Royal Wedding with a very British feast for two at Plum + Spilt Milk. In honour of Prince Harry’s proposal over a roast chicken, Executive Chef Mike Denman is serving a Herb-fed while free range chicken, brined & butter roasted breasts, duck fat confit legs, slow roasted garlic bread sauce, alongside sautéed new potatoes, parsley butter and seasonal vegetables.

The Rubens at The Palace Hotel sits on Buckingham Palace Road, a stone’s throw from all Royal action. They will be offering a delectable themed WeddingAfternoon Tea in honour of the upcoming Royal Wedding.

The tea will include Elderflower and lemon cheesecake, to match the wedding cake chosen by the happy couple, as well as Chocolate biscuit cake, in honour of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding cake in 2011.

To make sure this is a real royal occasion, there will even be Jammy Dodger biscuits, a childhood favourite to honour the new baby Prince. To make the most of the occasion, guests can enjoy the tea whilst watching the wedding live on screen at the Rubens Palace Lounge.

Guests can also order ‘A WeddingStory’ cocktail, combining British and American flavours, including Chapter 11 English Whisky, Balblair 99 Bourbon infused sugar cube, Rubens homemade Champagne Vermouth and a touch of Lanson Fizz.

Sanderson are celebrating the royal nuptials with their own Royal Wedding Party in Long Bar. With live music from Monroe and a set from DJ London Haarlem, don’t forget the Royal Wedding cocktail.
