Wildhive Callow Hall announces Wildhive Restorative Retreats with Naturopath Lucy Peel

Combining wellness with boutique staycations, prepare for the season ahead with a cleanse for mind, body and soul thanks to these upcoming expert-led juice cleanse retreats

Boutique country house hotel Wildhive Callow Hall in Derbyshire has announced it will be hosting a series of seasonal therapeutic and restorative retreats that aim to level up the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of guests, leaving them ready for the season ahead.

With the first experience set to launch in November, the Wildhive Restorative Retreats will see guests guided by naturopath Lucy Peel through a four-day juice cleanse designed specifically as a gentle detox for the digestive system, as well as promoting a proper rest for mind and body, all in the peaceful and natural surroundings of the Derbyshire countryside.

Lucy’s approach is about helping people get back into balance and a fundamental part of this is engaging in a spiritual practice, whereby guests find the space to connect with themselves energetically. An experienced naturopath and nutritional therapist, Lucy will be on hand throughout the retreat to provide emotional support and guidance, aiding guests in getting the very best out of it.

Drawing on the expertise of other practitioners, guests on the retreat will detox through movement with yoga sessions led by Wildhive Callow Hall’s resident yogi Gavin Cox as well as experiencing a deeply calming and transformative sound journey with Sarah Sims.

Naturopathic cleansing focuses on supporting the body to cleanse, allowing one to feel lighter and brighter. Taking a holistic approach, the retreat will support guests’ digestive system, liver, skin, lungs and kidneys as they cleanse with an expertly curated programme of juicing, saunas, meditation, breath work, yoga, sound healing and connecting with nature through guided walks in the Dales.

Complemented by dry skin brushing, castor oil packs, herbal teas and nutritional supplements, guests will leave well rested, having processed physical and emotional stress, and been empowered to look after themselves.

The retreat will also encourage time to simply rest and relax as much as possible in the soul-nourishing setting of Wildhive Callow Hall, which is surrounded by ancient woodland and 35 acres of wild open space.

As well as beautiful, unspoiled countryside, the hotel itself has plenty of space to relax in, be it by a fire in the Library or Drawing Room in the Main House, or tucked away among the trees in a Hive.
