Health and wellness has never been a bigger part of our lives. Conveniently located at the West End of Princes Street, Waldorf Astoria Spa offers the ultimate city spa experience in a haven of peace and tranquility. The new entrance off Lothian Road provides local visitors with easy access to its selection of wonderful facilities, which include a luxurious 12 metre pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room and a fully-equipped two floor gym with a dedicated cardio room overlooking Edinburgh Castle – offering so much more than a typical city gym in Edinburgh.

An ideal place for guests looking to work on their fitness or to simply take a break away from the everyday stresses of life, the spa has now introduced a comprehensive array of Technogym strength and resistance equipment including three Technogym Run Treadmills, which guests can enjoy whilst overlooking the beautiful views of Edinburgh castle, as well as newly installed cardio machines from the brands new Excite Live range including a Spinning Bike and an Excite Live Climb Stairmaster.
The Excite Live range offers a personalised training experience, with a digital user interface that inspires guests to embrace exercise and make it a part of their daily lives, where they can enjoy virtual classes and track their progress by connecting to their Apple watches. Later this month, Waldorf Astoria Spa will also introduce a Peloton bike for guests looking for a full fitness experience.

Those looking to further educate themselves on fitness and achieve their goals also have the option of working with a dedicated onsite personal trainer. Open daily from 6am-9pm, city workers can head to the spa to enjoy a swim or workout in the morning before they head to the office, on their lunch break or after their shift where they can de-stress after a busy day.
As a midweek or weekend treat, Edinburgh locals can also immerse themselves in pure relaxation, and select from a range of beauty and wellness treatments in partnership with 111SKIN and Ground Wellbeing, each designed to offer a rejuvenating experience.
