This summer The Vineyard Hotel & Spa, Berkshire’s luxury five-star hotel, invites serious foodies to immerse themselves in a week-long celebration of sustainable English winemaking during English Wine Week (21st-29th June 2025).
With special expert-led events, inviting offers and more, the hotel will offer guests multiple opportunities to discover exceptional English wines and complimentary dining at every touchpoint of their stay.
The Vineyard Hotel & Spa, a Michelin Guide One Key holder and proud member of Relais & Châteaux and PoB Hotels, has curated a festival experience through its longstanding relationship with outstanding English wine producers.
Featured partners include Berkshire’s Demeter-certified biodynamic Winding Wood, the nearby All Angels Vineyard, where vines are nurtured on a fertile terroir beside a 12th-century church using low-impact viticulture, and Simpsons Wine Estate in North Kent, where grapes thrive in lime-rich chalk soil through responsible land stewardship. Also included is Edge Herb Farm, a leader in regenerative agriculture with a focus on sustainable herb cultivation.
Guests can experience the best of English winemaking from the moment they arrive with a welcome glass of Winding Wood English wine at check-in and the following activations:
Sparkling Taste of Spa Package: Celebrate English Wine Week with a countryside retreat that highlights the best of sustainable British luxury. The Taste of Spa package during English Wine Week begins with a glass of locally sourced English sparkling wine on arrival, followed by a bottle of award-winning Winding Wood wine awaiting in the room. The luxury package includes a 30-minute restorative treatment at The Spa, using Irene Forte Skincare, renowned for its nutrient-rich, sustainably sourced formulations. A glass of Winding Wood will be served while relaxing in the private spa facilities and the experience concludes with a thoughtfully prepared seasonal breakfast the next morning, showcasing locally sourced ingredients such as Berkshire trout, soft scrambled eggs, and freshly pressed juice made from the freshest fruit and vegetables of the day.
English Wine in Every Setting: With compliments of a refreshing glass of All Angels Sparkling Wine with the luxurious and moreish Afternoon Tea – to curated English wine pairings throughout each course of The Tasting Room Spring Menu, guests are encouraged to speak to the team to explore the collection of 15,000 bottles of wine and can enjoy preferential retail opportunities on their favourites.

The festival will headline two main grape-fuelled events:
• Meet the Pros with Simpsons Wine Estate and Edge Herb Farm – Wednesday 25th June: A four-course dinner highlighting seasonal ingredients and herbs paired with exceptional wines from Simpsons Wine Estate, hosted by Henry Rymill from Simpsons and Rachel Fee from Edge Herb Farm.
• All Angels Wine Bash – Sunday 29th June: A social celebration of food and wine with small plates paired with All Angels’ award-winning sparkling wines, hosted by All Angels founder Mark Darley. Set to be hosted in the front garden, (weather dependent) with live music and a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
PLUS: Elevating the English Wine Week experience, The Vineyard Hotel & Spa presents an engaging social media competition. Guests are encouraged to capture and share their most memorable moments on Instagram using #VYEnglishWineWeek for the opportunity to win a luxurious Taste of Spa experience for two. This initiative aims to create a vibrant, interactive celebration across the 8 days. The competition will run throughout English Wine Week, with the winner able to redeem their prize between July and November 2025.
