Harilela Hotels has set its sights on Singapore as the third home for its acclaimed hotel brand The Hari, complementing the existing properties in London and Hong Kong
Adding to its existing properties in London and Hong Kong, the new opening marks an exciting expansion for the The Hari collection. The spring 2027 opening will see the Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre transformed into a luxury 326-bedroom hotel featuring a rooftop pool, executive lounge, dining and wellness experiences, and the brand’s signature revolving rota of artwork.
British designer Tara Bernerd, whose distinctive vision has shaped both The Hari London and The Hari Hong Kong, will bring her signature approach to The Hari Singapore. Balancing contemporary elegance with a strong sense of place, the design creates layered interiors that feel both sophisticated and welcoming, reflecting the energy and cultural character of Singapore.
“This hotel, like our sister properties in Belgravia and Wan Chai, will embody relaxed elegance punctuated by eccentricity, wit, culture and genuine heartfelt hospitality,” said the brand’s founder, Dr. Aron Harilela. “Singapore is key to our ambition to evolve The Hari in major international destinations.“
Grounded in the Harilela family’s commitment to exemplary hospitality, each of The Hari hotels is a celebration of culture, design and impeccable service.
The Hari Singapore will be the third hotel to open under the ‘The Hari’ brand, with an exact opening date to be announced in due course. The first hotel, The Hari London opened in August 2016, followed by The Hari Hong Kong in December 2020.
The Harilela Group was established in 1959 and is still wholly owned by the Harilela family. The Harilela Group is the parent company of Harilela Hotels which owns 15 properties across Hong Kong, China, Asia, Europe, and the US.
