2 Try Smith & Whistle's Loaded Fries menu

Sheraton Grand London Park Lane is welcoming the change of season with the launch of a limited edition Loaded Fries menu, available at the hotel’s Smith & Whistle bar.

Pay a visit to try a mouth-watering menu of five different loaded fries - with even a pooch-friendly option available. 

The Curry ‘n’ Chips capture a perfect blend of Indian spice with fries loaded up with sweet potato chaat, complimented with Tamarind Ketchup, Mint & Coriander Chutney and crispy onions. For something with a bite of British, try the Fish ‘n’ Chips. Breaded Cod, White Crab and Brown Shrimps make up the tantalising toppings.

Triple cooked chips loaded up with tender slices of Onglet steak deliver the Steak ‘n’ Chips. Topped with grilled onion, friggitelli peppers, coastal cheddar and drenched in piping hot gravy. 

Indulge in Katsu ‘n’ Chips, delicious fries loaded with popcorn chicken, sweet chilli and Katsu curry sauce. Finished off with a blend of spring onion, sesame seeds, red chilli and lime – these fries are enjoyed best with a classic G&T.

3 Devour The Lanesborough Grill's New Sunday Lunch

Grab your comfy clothes, it's that time again - roast season. The Lanesborough, London is launching a decadent new Sunday lunch at The Lanesborough Grill, the hotel’s recently opened flagship modern British restaurant with acclaimed British Chef, Shay Cooper at its helm.

Sunday lunch at The Lanesborough Grill will centre around large joints of the finest quality British beef, expertly cooked to perfection, and carved at the table from ornate, antique trolleys alongside a generous selection of all the very best trimmings.

The new menu also features a wide selection of Shay’s best loved, modern British dishes, featuring produce that has been lovingly selected from handpicked artisan suppliers from across the country.

To celebrate the launch, the hotel has partnered with Apsley House, allowing visitors to combine a historical tour of the Duke of Wellington’s ancestorial London home following savouring the first-ever Sunday lunch at The Grill.

As well as tempting starters and desserts, comforting mains include the likes of Roast sirloin of Hereford beef, horseradish and apple cream, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, as well as Roast salt marsh lamb, shepherd’s pie, charred hispi, green olive and seaweed tapenade and Scottish halibut, courgette blossom, red shrimp, light herb emulsion. 

To perfectly accompany this new menu, there is also a Best of British pre-lunch drinks list, showcasing an impressive cocktail menu including a Cambridge Distillery – Truffle Gin Martini and Gattertop Damson No 12 from Herefordshire.

4 Indulge in Revelry at The Libertine

If you love drinks in impressive spaces, make a trip to The Libertine, an impressive 450 capacity venue now open at The Royal Exchange.

Nestled in the historic vaults under The Royal Exchange, The Libertine features a large destination bar, lively drinking and dining spaces, two private dining rooms including a whiskey vault for paired whiskey experiences, and a main restaurant.

Under vaulted arches which once housed the spices, silks and gold that enriched London in years gone by sits a new fortune worthy of the modern City.

The drinks menu has been created in partnership with some of the city's finest distilleries, breweries and wine merchants. The wine list consists of a house list offering quality wines from respected world vineyards and a reserve list displaying finer vintages for special occasions. Sitting alongside the wine list and array of well-loved beers will be a cocktail menu with twists on the classics, including a Smoky Thyme Old Fashioned and a Pink Peppercorn Negroni, as well as a full menu of classic cocktails.

5 Get a fashion fix with Searcys at The Gherkin

6 Huddle up at Hush Mayfair

Available until 22nd November, venture Into the Woods with Hush Mayfair and Sly Dog Rum and their enchanted autumnal heated al fresco terrace.

Situated in central London, escape the city and step into an ivy-covered canopy accented with bursts of auburn and glimmers of gold foliage, nodding to the distinctive orange tone of the SLY DOG Spiced Rum bottle.

There’ll be pumpkins a plenty, alongside fallen autumnal leaves and blooms in yellows, oranges and reds throughout. Fashioned to fulfil your fairy tale fantasies, the Courtyard will also be adorned with gold rococo frames and mirrors, vintage storybooks, hanging apothecary bottles and even a few love potions.

Sip your way through the cocktail menu - a Sly and Stormy Night is a tempting mix of SLY DOG Spiced Rum, lime, apple cider, ginger beer and Angostura; whilst the bold Wolfpack Punch features SLY DOG Spiced Rum, mango chilli cordial, strawberry, lime, chilli liqueur, soda and absinthe – not one for the faint hearted!

7 Raise a glass to the Riviera with The Residency

Calling all gin gluggers. Gin d’Azur is partnering with the recently opened restaurant The Residency in Notting Hill for a month-long paired menu celebrating the very best flavours of the Riviera. 

Available from Tuesday to Sunday for £65, enjoy dishes emulating the sunshine of the Mediterranean coast, and transporting diners to the sun-kissed coastlines of Europe all to be paired with three limited-edition Gin d’Azur cocktails. 

From mouthfuls of avocado and courgette tempura, paired with the Jasmine Cocktail, to tantalising trout ceviche with a delicate coconut lime dressing paired with the Provence cocktail – this limited-edition menu is ideal for a taste of sunshine on even the dreariest of days.

8 Enjoy a pre-theatre feast with Chotto Matte Soho

For the ultimate pre-theatre dining experience, tuck into Chotto Matte Soho’s  Signature or Vegetarian Pre-Theatre Bento Boxes.

Featuring a selection of  showstoppers including the Tuna Tataki, Lychee Ceviche and Asado do Tira and served with a glass of champagne, the new menu is ideal for a little taste of luxury at an excellent price.

The newly refurbished restaurant, situated just a stone’s throw from the West End, has recently reopened with an elevated design to admire. 

The signature bento box is set at £30, including a glass of champagne, and features a Miso Soup and a  selection of sushi. Bite into BBQ Huacatay Broccoli, Spicy Chicken Karaage with  seasoned butter milk marinade as well as Asado de Tira, a slow cooked braised beef  cheek with purple potato puree, teriyaki jus and chives. 

Similarly, the Vegetarian bento box is set at £28, includes a glass of champagne, and contains Edamame, Lychee Ceviche, a selection of Vegetarian sushi’s, Jungle  Salad, Arroz Chaufa with Peruvian vegetables, fried rice and spicy sesame soy, and the BBQ Huacatay Broccoli.

9 Park Up for Park Chinois' Shanghai Brunch

If you like things dripping in decadence, you're in luck. Head to Club Chinois, a sumptuous underground hideaway downstairs at Park Chinois, to enjoy a hedonistic gathering of weekend celebrants. Guests will indulge in a selection of  the restaurants most delectable dishes, a flow of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and high-energy modern  cabaret performances.  

Commencing at midday every Saturday, Shanghai Brunch will offer true glitz and glamour, making this the ultimate destination brunch.

Try an exclusive three-course menu (including half a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne per person) for £125 alongside a newly curated, highly  dynamic show of exceptional live performances from world class dancers, singers and cabaret  performers - transporting guests to underground Shanghai. 

Executive Chef Che Liang Lee has created a lavish menu for the occasion, which will begin with a selection of starters for the table, including Wagyu Beef Gyoza, Wasabi Prawns and the Chef Selection  of Dim Sum. To follow, there are larger plates such as the Grilled Black Cod in Scallion Sauce or Stir fried Wagyu Bavette in Black Pepper Sauce and a choice of sides including seasonal black truffle rice  or green vegetables. Ending on a sweet note, Park Chinois Pastry Chef Valentino Pepe will serve a  seasonal selection of deserts.

11 Enjoy all things jazz at Mama Shelter London Shoreditch

Mama Shelter London Shoreditch in East London is participating in this years’ EFG London Jazz Festival, which will be taking place from 11th - 20th November 2022. 

Mama London is no stranger to live music having hosted gigs over the last few years. As this years’ Jazz FM Awards official Hotel Partner, Mama London has been established as a friend of the jazz scene.

The property will be hosting Sunday Sessions on 13th and 20th November (opening and closing of the festival), where independent artists on the music scene with elements of Jazz, will be featured.

Ash Walker will headline the opening Sunday Session on Sunday 13th November. Walker is no stranger to iconic jazz venues, having played at the esteemed Jazz Café, as well as some of the UK’s biggest festivals.

Ash is joined by Ruby Francis and Josh Barry, both talented musicians in their own right.

Closing the Sunday Sessions on 20th November is ZEBEDE whose hyper-aesthetic sound is a fusion of future soul, jazz and funky roots. ZEBEDE have played many live performances including the Barclaycard stage at Hyde Park’s British Summertime Festival, the Ford Amplified Sessions and at the Abbey Road Studios, as well as Sofar Sounds. Leah Cleaver (vocalist) will be performing with Charlie Dauber (Guitarist).

Joining ZEBEDE is Nic Hanson who is a producer, singer and linguist, spending his time between London and NYC. 

DJ Chris is a regular at Mama Shelter London, having been on the DJ roster since 2020. As part of the duo, Disco Freaks, his style covers funk, soul and jazz.

12 Feast with Farzi Café's revamped menu

Farzi Café, London’s leading experiential pan-Indian restaurant has just launched a revamped menu with brand new Chef Dhwani Agarwal.

Tapping into new interpretations and infusions that nod to a global influence, the menu sees Indian classics with a modern twist, taking influence from the East and West for a delicious result. 

Highlights from the new menu include - Lobster & Coconut Risotto, Butternut Squash Gatta Curry – crispy squash gnocchi, Rajasthani kadhi with pickled orzo and Aburi Salmon - Flamed Salmon, Orange Glaze, Granny Smith and Coconut Milk, topped with Ikura & Herb Oil. 

Full of rich flavours and Indian fusions, the menu will be accompanied with tapas-style small dishes - Avocado Tokri Basket - waffle basket with avocado chat, raw mango carpaccio and lemon air, Dal Chawal Arancini, and Porcupine braised lamb. 

All these can be enjoyed with Farzi’s playful astrology-themed cocktail menu, influenced by India’s rich Ayurvedic past, featuring the 12 zodiac signs.

13 Spend the night at a converted chapel in camden

Citycations are calling. With a £9m investment and following a two-year period of construction, The Wesley is a brand new addition to Camden's up and coming neighbourhood.

14 Celebrate COYA's 10th Anniversary In Style

15 Get your whisky fix with Rosewood London's new winter terrace

If you're partial to the odd nightcap, you're in luck. Glenfiddich has teamed up with Rosewood London to launch a first-of-its-kind terrace offering visitors the chance to enjoy a moment of calm amidst the festive busy-ness of the city from November until March 2023. 

As the pace of life and its pressure to be ‘always on’ intensify pre-Christmas; Glenfiddich and Rosewood London provide the perfect antidote - the curation of an immersive cocktail and dining space where slowing down is encouraged.

An opulent winter terrace where the offering goes beyond the norm, The Time:Capsule is nestled within one of the Capital's most prestigious hotels, an idyllic urban getaway where the hum of the city slips away, Rosewood London’s iconic courtyard terrace is transformed into a feast for the senses. 

Of course, the cocktails will be extra appealing. A menu of exquisite Glenfiddich tipples, created by Rosewood London's Head of Mixology, Yann Bouvignies and team, will include an innovative new Reversed Coffee, (Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, Evaporated Tonka & Cof ee, Pandan Cream), a deceptively clear concoction displaying technical skill with strong flavours.

16 Try Hart Shoreditch's new Restaurant Mostrador

Hart Shoreditch has announced Mostrador London as its new pop-up dining concept. Located in the beating heart of East London, guests will be treated to tantalising tastes from world-renowned Argentinian chef and restaurateur Fernando Trocca.

Fernando Trocca has opened the first London outpost of his family-style dining concept, Mostrador, for six months in the heart of Shoreditch. Following success in Montauk, Uruguay and Buenos Aires, the pop-up is the UK counterpart to a global Mostrador legacy. Famed for his casual take on fine dining, Trocca’s inspiration comes from the “mostradores”, or counter-service eateries, across Latin America.

The restaurant specialises in all-day dining, offering abundant, seasonal produce and freshly baked pastries served all day. Diners should expect plentiful, showstopping salads and simply prepared proteins with a strong focus on locally sourced, quality ingredients.

Must-try bites include “Mostrador” French toast, Butternut squash, honey, lime, cinnamon vinaigrette, kale, feta and Sweet potato, Latin Criolla sauce, fresh coriander - to name just a trio.

17 Enjoy an evening of suite musical enchantment with Brown's Hotel

18 Get a comfort food fix at Ekstedt at the Yard

Ekstedt at the Yard, the Scandinavian restaurant with a focus on open-fire cooking and traditional Nordic techniques by Michelin star chef Niklas Ekstedt, has recently launched a new à la carte menu.

The restaurant, set within the five-star Great Scotland Yard Hotel, allows guests to experience a new approach to Niklas’s cooking, previously only available in a tasting menu format. 

The new offering will provide guests an opportunity to explore the breadth of Niklas’ cooking through a choice of dishes spanning snacks ‘from the fire’, followed by a classic three course menu.

For mains, guests can expect dishes such as Juniper Smoked John Dory with brown butter roasted hispi cabbage and oxalis flowers; Slow Charcoal Roasted Pork Neck, fermented gooseberries and trotter sauce and Pine Smoked Jerusalem Artichokes with smoked turnip purée and fermented cep juice. Desserts include Coal Fired Plums, a plum tartlet served with maple syrup ice cream; Wood Oven Baked Alaska with a side of elderflower ice cream and lingonberries and Cast-Iron Baked Maida Vale, quince and fennel knackebrod.
