Join South Bank bar Lyaness for its much-loved Sunday Lyan series this summer, kicking things off on Sunday 25th July with Hoppers, the award-winning Sri Lankan restaurant
Calling all foodies! Critically acclaimed London bar Lyaness from Ryan Chetiyawardana, AKA Mr Lyan, is bringing back its much-loved Sunday Lyan series this summer in partnership with ingredients focused mixer maker Fever-Tree.
Passionate about celebrating innovation and quality from the food and drink industries, the Sunday Lyan series will see Lyaness also team up with some of the best bars, restaurants and brands from around the UK for each Sunday Lyan menu.
After a soft launch in June with AMASS gin and brand ambassador Sim Edwards, the Sunday Lyan series is kicking off officially on Sunday 25th July with Hoppers, the award-winning Sri Lankan restaurant. Guests can expect cocktail creations showcasing innovative Sri Lankan and South Asian flavour combinations and moreish bar snacks.
The concept behind Lyaness’ menu, which first launched in April 2019, is to focus on core ingredients as the backbone of the menu, rather than specific drinks, and it is this concept which will be explored and celebrated throughout the entire Sunday Lyan series, presented in collaboration with Fever Tree, whose ingredient led approach mirrors that of Lyaness.
Throughout the rest of 2021, Lyaness and Fever-Tree will be collaborating with a host of exciting and contemporary partners, including Scottish rum Askival with chef and owner Craig Grozier (August); Sheffield’s neighbourhood gem Bench (September); Drinks veteran Andy Gemmel and his highly admired Glasgow pub The Gate (October); Fermentation expert Dr Jonny Drain and the Mr Lyan studio (November); A mega-mix of London stalwarts to round off the year, with Shop Cuvée, London Vermouth, Happy Endings, Rare Tea Co and Affinity Brewery (December).
