
Run, don’t walk. Designed to help extend the life of its footwear, On has launched ‘Onward,’ a new resale programme powered by Trove, the recommerce operating system
With reducing environmental impact more important than ever, Swiss performance sportswear brand On has collaborated with Trove to launch its new ‘Onward’ initiative – a platform that allows consumers to shop and trade in pre-owned On footwear with an aim to add further apparel in the future.
Designed to help extend the life of its products, the new partnership is a step forward in helping On become a more circular company. No stranger to sustainability, On has shown continuous awareness of its global environmental footprint since the brand’s inception, working to increase the usage of recycled fabrics and decrease carbon emissions with existing products such as its fully recycle shoes. ‘Onward’ is the latest venture that the brand states will help it “take responsibility for every product and its afterlife”.

‘Onward’ will initially be available for On footwear only, with the sportswear brand allowing customers to send back their “gently used On gear” in return for credit to spend on their next purchase at ‘Onward’ or Onrunning.com.
