Designed to offer an oasis of verdant calm, Vestige Collection, the Spanish family-owned luxury hospitality group, will unveil Vestige Binidufà in Menorca this April
Combining wellness with a sense of true exclusivity, the 11-bedroom hotel is the second of two boutique properties set within a shared 800-hectare private estate in Menorca’s unspoilt north.
Joining Son Ermità, which opened in June 2025, Binidufà will complete the estate’s shared concept, forming a rare dual-hotel destination defined by space, seclusion and a deep connection to the land.
Together, Son Ermità and Binidufà are experienced as a single destination. Guests can move freely between the two properties, sharing guest programming, wellness facilities, dining across two restaurants, and the extensive surrounding estate, which spreads across untouched countryside reaching down to three wild coves.

Binidufà is the older of the two 18th-century restored properties, its Arabic name a reminder of Menorca’s Moorish past and the site’s long history as a working agricultural estate.
In a peaceful valley within the estate, Binidufà offers a different perspective to Son Ermità’s elevated hilltop setting. From its terraces and gardens, the landscape unfolds in rolling green hills and red Menorcan earth, dotted with Minorcan cattle. The setting is verdant and calm; a place where time slows, guided by the natural rhythms of the landscape.
Each room and suite follows Vestige Collection’s signature design language: natural materials, rich tones drawn from the surrounding landscape, and a thoughtful dialogue between past and present. Much of the furniture has been designed by Vestige’s in-house design studio, Vestige Estudio, and crafted locally, complemented by carefully sourced antiques and contemporary art.
The building has been meticulously restored with the same care and restraint that defines Vestige’s wider portfolio, further reinforcing the brand’s commitment to preserving and regenerating places of architectural, environmental and cultural significance.

Traditional construction techniques and locally sourced materials have been prioritised, through close collaboration with local builders and craftspeople to ensure authenticity at every stage, whilst native planting supports the estate’s biodiversity.
Binidufà’s plant-forward dining concept, Mesura, offers a lighter approach to dining, providing a refined contrast to Brisa at Son Ermità, where Mediterranean dishes highlight fish, seafood and traditional Menorcan flair. Mesura’s menu celebrates the island’s bounty, focusing on vegetables, herbs and locally grown grains, alongside dairy and eggs sourced from nearby farms, while the bar provides an elegant setting for evening aperitifs.

A curated programme of experiences invites guests to explore Menorca’s natural and cultural heritage. Walks and cycling routes wind through the land, offering insight into the island’s flora, fauna and geology, while beyond the estate, Vestige’s team can arrange meaningful encounters with local artisans, farmers and producers. Wellness is approached in harmony with nature, with massages and treatments using organic oils scented with native herbs and flowers.

Also new for 2026, this summer will see Vestige Collection launch three private estates: six-bedroom Son Veri in Mallorca’s Valldemossa circled by the Tramuntana mountains, and Can Jordi and Can Mestre, two four-bedroom villas on a shared estate in Formentera; Vestige’s first foray on the island. Autumn 2026 will also mark the brand’s first international expansion, with the opening of the first of four safari lodges in northern Namibia.
