Oku Hotels Makes Its Turkish Debut On The Bodrum Peninsula’s North Coast

Now open on the northern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, OKU Bodrum marks the brand’s debut in Türkiye – an intimate, adults-only retreat composed of 58 rooms, three dining destinations and an extensive spa

OKU Hotels has just opened the doors of its fourth property, OKU Bodrum, marking the brand’s first outpost in Türkiye, joining existing locations in Ibiza, Kos and Andalusia.

A seafront sanctuary filled with deluxe wellness opportunities on the Bodrum peninsula’s northern coast, OKU Bodrum is an adults-only retreat within one of Europe’s most sought-after destinations. Framed by Bodrum’s mountains on one side and the glittering turquoise Aegean on the other, the boutique hotel makes the most of its seafront location with breathtaking views from the moment guests arrive.

Spaces designed for slow living

OKU Bodrum offers just 58 rooms and suites, each with front-facing sea views, private balconies or terraces, and many with a private or shared pool.

Tucked into the hillside with views across sea and sky, every space is designed for slow living and bringing nature in to make the most of spectacular surroundings. Interiors reflect OKU’s signature boho-chic, minimalistic style – earth-toned linens, beautiful natural materials and contemporary lines – with a distinctly Turkish flair, including accent details of local marble and walls crafted from reclaimed stone.

A collaboration with one of Turkey’s leading art curators, Begüm Güney, introduces a collection of unique artworks and sculptural installations across the hotel, each piece selected to echo the grounded and meditative quality of the space and its connection to the land.

Refined dining

Three distinct dining and drinking destinations serve locally sourced produce, bold flavours and vibrant plates throughout the day and into the evening. OKU’s signature Nikkei-inspired restaurant, Teyo Bodrum, opens exclusively for dinner in an open-air setting where Japanese cuisine meets South American spirit.

At the heart of the hotel, To Kima Restaurant is where Mediterranean classics meet Asian-inspired flavours in a relaxed yet refined poolside setting. Perched on the cove-side jetty, The Round Bar offers meze snacks and crafted cocktails beside the glittering bay with panoramic views of the peninsula coastline.

Restorative wellness

The perfectly formed OKU Spa is the ideal retreat after days of discovery, offering a curated programme of wellness rituals drawn from differing practices and traditions. Facilities include a traditional Turkish hammam, sauna, seaview fitness area, relaxation space and open-air seafront treatment cabanas – each designed to restore and revitalise in equal measure.

Curated rituals also go beyond the treatment room – blending nature, culture, and community. Join a beachside breathwork session at sunrise, explore the power of sound healing at dusk, or discover traditional Turkish hammam treatments.

Authentic experiences

Beyond leisurely days spent poolside to DJ beats, paddle boarding from the jetty or snorkelling in the bay, OKU Bodrum offers uniquely crafted experiences rooted in a deep respect for the land and its heritage.

These range from garden-to-glass workshops – foraging in the hotel’s own herb gardens and the surrounding hills to create bespoke elixirs – to guided hiking excursions and visits to traditional artisanal weaving studios.

The hotel’s idyllic location offers direct access to a protected bay for swimming, while the private jetty provides boat access for ocean-faring adventures to quiet lagoons, nearby islands and the region’s famous vibrant marinas, home to globally renowned restaurants and beach clubs.
