Located in the Salzburg region, the award-winning five-star family retreat now invites guests to experience an elegant transformation of the property, featuring the launch of enhanced wellness programmes and an enhanced culinary offering.
Elevated Dining Experience
At the heart of the resort’s refurbishment is the reimagined restaurant and buffet space, where a striking pizza oven serves as a focal point for an engaging ‘front cooking’ experience. Guests can unwind and enjoy a peaceful evening as culinary expertise comes to life in a captivating and social setting.
The evolution will continue with the launch of Ferdinand in June, an intimate fine dining concept that takes inspiration from the resort’s history and family roots, taking over the space that was once the first dining room. Grandpa Ferdinand, along with his wife Maria, played a pivotal role in the foundations of Moar Gut, and this new gourmet experience aims to celebrate this family heritage and his innovation.
With just four tables, the intimate restaurant will provide both exceptional cuisine and attentive service, with each dish reflecting the creations that carry Ferdinand’s name and spirit. Open five days a week for guests aged 14 and above, it provides an understated yet memorable dining experience, where every detail is crafted to leave a lasting impression.
A Holistic Approach to Wellness
Rooted in the belief that nature restores balance to both body and mind, Moar Gut has elevated its wellbeing and fitness offerings. The resort now features an upgraded gym equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, alongside comprehensive body analysis and personalised fitness programmes tailored to individual wellbeing.
Moar Gut’s extensive spa and wellness experiences cater to guests of all ages, from babies and children to parents to parents in need of rejuvenation. Recently, the resort expanded its holistic wellbeing portfolio to include advanced medical IV drip therapies, an innovative addition designed to support long-term health and demonstrate how targeted treatments can deliver meaningful, lasting results. These are professionally administered by local specialist Dr Julia Gerzer, an experienced physician in family medicine, anaesthesia and intensive care.
Glowcation at Moar Gut
Recognising the importance of self-care, especially during family holidays, Moar Gut introduces its ‘Glowcation’ concept which allows guests to fully unwind while prioritising their wellbeing. Alongside its extensive spa treatments, the resort offers two exclusive medical aesthetic treatments.
In partnership with the renowned Salzburg-based studio AELUA, signature treatments are brought directly to the resort, ensuring guests can enjoy advanced care without leaving the beautiful, irresistible alpine setting.
