Join a number of the UK and beyond’s top chefs for DEVour At The Devonshire Arms, a six-day dining event filled with gourmet dishes in North Yorkshire this November
Calling all gourmands! Head Chef of The Burlington, Paul Leonard, is set to join forces with a number of top chefs this November for a special six-day dining event at The Devonshire Arms.
Taking place this November, each evening will see Paul co-host with a different guest Chef, resulting in a six exceptional evenings of gourmet artistry.
One of the UK’s finest country house hotels, The Devonshire Arms is known for its reputation in providing outstanding hospitality in the picturesque surroundings of Bolton Abbey.
Carefully selected for their varied style and approach, the six chefs boast five Michelin stars and armfuls of industry awards between them..
The lineup will feature talent from some of the UK’s top restaurants and even as far a field as Denmark.
The full delicious lineup is as follows:
1 Tuesday 5th – Paul Proffitt
The first evening will see Paul Proffitt from Henne Kirkeby Kro, a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant on the west coast of Denmark.
Paul followed his heart there some four years ago, moving his family to create a new life with his Danish wife. The simple sophistication of this carefully crafted six-course menu, conjured up by the two Pauls, is sure to delight.
2 Wednesday 6th – Luke French
Next, Luke French from Jörro will treat diners to his dishes.
Jörro is a Sheffield-based, three AA rosette restaurant, renowned famed for its small plates and use of native
ingredients.
The two Chefs will be cooking up a Nordic inspired six-course menu for the evening, with a subtle nod to the Orient.
3 Thursday 7th – Adam Smith
Next up, Adam Smith from from Restaurant Coworth Park which holds a Michelin star. Adam will be back on his old turf to cook up a six-course classical feast for the senses with co-host and successor, Paul.
Adam has won many of the industry’s most prestigious titles, including in 2017, ‘Master of Culinary Arts’, one of the highest accolades there is.
4 Friday 8th – Adam Reid
Foodies can sample flavours courtesy of Adam Reid at The French; restaurant of The Midland Hotel, Manchester.
Adam is Chef Patron and has won many accolades during his short time at the helm, including 4 AA rosettes. Guests are in for a treat with the collaboration of these two Chefs.
5 Saturday 9th – Lee Smith
Join Lee Smith from Samphire on Jersey, which was recently awarded a Michelin star. The restaurant pays homage to fresh produce, and guests are in for a delectable dining occasion with Lee partnering Paul for this special evening.
6 Sunday 10th – Tom Shepherd
To conclude, Tom Shepherd from Michelin-starred Adam’s Birmingham will take to the culinary stage.
Brummie-born Tom has honed his culinary talents with guidance from some legendary Chefs, including Michael Wignall and Sat Bains, and this evening will be a tting close to a spectacular week.

Cost: Room (B&B included too, double or twin) and two tickets for the event are £400 per couple for midweek/Sunday evenings, and £450 for the Friday/Saturday evening events. Optional wine flight is £75 per head.
Non-resident cost: A strictly limited number of non-resident tickets are available for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, so that guests can enjoy a truly memorable meal for a more reasonable cost – six course dining event, with Champagne reception – £105 per person (£180 inc wine flight).
