Wellness lovers are invited to attend a stylish new yoga retreat taking place at none other than Christian Louboutin’s first hotel, Vermelho in Portugal
For the first time since Christian Louboutin’s first hotel Vermelho opened its doors, the hotel will now host a duo of exclusive yoga retreats this October.
Set against the picturesque background of the village of Melides, and led by expert yoga instructor Nicole Marty, guests will be invited to explore how the earth element of the Muladhara (root chakra) enhances the connection to the earth and help visitors reconnect with their foundational energies.
Whether guests are looking to unwind or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, the three night yoga retreats are designed to cater to everyone’s needs. Participants will enjoy tailored sessions that accommodate all levels, set to soothing music to enhances the experience.
The intimate setting of Vermelho provides an ideal environment for relaxation and rejuvenation, ensuring that guests leave feeling revitalised and refreshed – a true home away from home.
The daily schedule is as follows:
- 8:00 am: Tea, coffee, fruits/nuts served
- 9:00 am: 75-minute Yoga practice
- 10:15 am: Breakfast (Brunch style)
- Free time for spa and activities
- 2:00 pm: Optional Lunch
- Relaxation time by the pool, spa, or activities
- 6:30 pm: 60-minute Yoga practice
- 8:00 pm: Dinner
On the last night, guests will be invited to enjoy an excursion to La Folie for a final night yoga session. Optional activities are also available including horseback riding and biking.
Operated by Marugal Hotel Management, Vermelho is an intimate 13-room hotel is set in the village of Melides, deep in Portugal’s Alentejo region, just inland of the west coast, south of Comporta and Lisbon. Christian Louboutin, who has a long-standing admiration for Portugal and the area, spent many weeks designing his collections in the country inspired by the unique light and culture of the people.
The name Vermelho, meaning red in Portuguese, is the perfect homage to his signature colour and the design is a tribute to the unique natural beauty and heritage of the region.
