Foodies, grab the nearest fork. Reading’s only Michelin starred restaurant L’ortolan is turning 18 this September and to celebrate, they’re hosting a one-off menu of gourmet throwbacks on 11th & 12th September.
In celebration of this impressive anniversary, a delectably special menu bringing back the most popular dishes from throughout the restaurant’s history will be on offer for one night only.
Plus, to add to the enchantment, a very special guest will be heading to the kitchen. Joining head Chef Tom Clarke will be L’ortolan’s original head chef, Alan Murchison.
Murchison headed up the kitchen for 14 years and was at the helm when L’ortolan was first awarded its Michelin star in 2003). He’ll be returning for this rare collaborative kitchen effort to mark the milestone.
Together the chefs will re-create some of L’ortolan’s greatest menu hits since opening.
