3 Try Bondi Rise’s new Jump Board classes

If you love reformer pilates, you’ll love this new workout at Aussie-inspired Bondi Rise. A new, high intensity workout on the reformer to kickstart the new year, the jump board is a padded plate that replaces the foot bar on the reformer. Placed at the end of the reformer, it creates a soft platform with some give, which you can then use to “jump” against spring resistance whilst on the reformer.

A fantastic non-weight bearing method, each class increases the heart rate, is safe, and much easier on the joints. It is also a fun cardio exercise that challenges your core, elevates the heart rate, and improves coordination.

Following the ethos ‘if you’re going to rise, you might as well shine’, the boutique Pilates studio is an advocate for inclusive wellness experiences and hosts an array of other Pilates classes to suit everyone’s needs. From the male centric ‘Reform-MEN’ to pre-natal Pilates classes for mums-to-be and the popular ‘Mums and Bubs’ baby friendly class that focuses on core activation and pelvic stability. Bondi Rise also offers dynamic ‘Barre Burn’ barre classes that boost posture, flexibility, balance and fitness, the energetic Power Vinyasa and calming Yin Yoga classes.

4 Spoil yourself with a membership at Grey Wolfe

Grey Wolfe, which has been operating as a pay-as-you-go wellness destination since opening in 2021, has transitioned to a private members’ club.

Based in the West London village of Barnes, luxury wellness space Grey Wolfe bridges advanced scientific biotechnology, spirituality, beauty, wisdom, healing and wellness practices. A complete wellness sanctuary, enveloping guests in tranquillity and calm to slow down from the busy outside world.

Set to transition to a membership model in January 2024, the new private members’ club will offer their unique range of BioTechnology and exclusively Attuned Massages, along with mindful movement, nutrition and new wisdom, designed to take care of members’ physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.

What makes the membership so unique is that each time a client books in, they will have full use of the entire space exclusively to themselves (with a guest if they wish), allowing members to embrace stillness and engage in meaningful self-reflection.

The space itself is led by a minimal aesthetic, with its stone design, warm lighting and attention to detail. These qualities lend themselves to a calming atmosphere and a sleek, luxurious finish. Natural materials provide a calming effect on both biological and neurological levels, reducing stress hormones and fatigue. A warm natural palette of wood and stone offers a frequency to enable relaxation and rejuvenation.

High-tech treatments include: Rebalance Impulse, Infra Red Sauna, BioCharger, Lymphatic Boots and Hyperbaric Oxygen PodLED Facial Therapy.
