Hosted at the luxuriant South Lodge in Sussex, guests will be led on a culinary journey as Tom Kemble prepares an exquisite eight-course menu, inspired and complemented by a curated selection of Ridgeview wines.
A stunning country house hotel set amongst the rolling hills of the South Downs, this plush escape is known for its incredible cuisine (as well as its newly opened state-of- the-art spa).
As Sussex neighbours, Ridgeview wines and The Pass share a mutual respect and passion for the bounties of their surrounds. Thus, the evening will showcase the very best of the region as the collaborators deliver a unique tasting experience.
On the menu: line caught mackerel sashimi, gooseberry, cucumber, shisho and dashi consommé complemented by Ridgeview Blanc de Blancs 2014; native lobster, peach, fennel, Isle of Wight tomato and lobster sabayon with Ridgeview Blanc de Noirs 2014; and raspberries, elderflower and buttermilk panna cotta, pistachio sorbet accompanied by Ridgeview Rosé de Noirs 2013.
Taking the ‘Chef’s Table’ concept and uniquely developing it, Tom Kemble at The Pass welcomes up to 28 guests to a unique culinary experience.
The stylish venue focuses on seasonality and British produce through a Japanese lens, whilst providing front row seats to the kitchen action.
