Join culinary icon Michel Roux OBE for a four-course feast filled with Scottish delights at The Balmoral in Edinburgh this month

In the mood for a little Michelin-starred salivating? This October, the legendary Michel Roux OBE is heading to Brasserie Prince at The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte Hotel for one night only.

He’ll be treating guests to a special 4-course dinner, featuring exquisite Scottish produce and seasonal dishes. As well as sampling the plates, lucky gourmands can also chat to Michel himself throughout the evening.

Chef and restauranteur Michel Roux and his son Alain Roux, Chef Patron of three Michelin starred The Waterside Inn, Bray-on-Thames, opened the Brasserie in June 2018 which has since become a firm favourite amongst both hotel guests and locals.

The father son duo collaboratively launched the restaurant to bring to life dishes from throughout France using Scottish ingredients, showcasing the diversity in cooking and produce from both countries.

Michel himself is not only an extremely highly regarded chef and restaurateur but an author, teacher, mentor, father, brother and pioneer and also co-founded the first ever brasserie in the UK, Brasserie Benoit in London.

With each course a classic Roux dish reinvented with a Scottish twist, the dinner will transport diners on a journey of unique French-Scottish cuisine – with additional pairing wines on offer too.
