Margot in Covent Garden has recently launched a series of delectable monthly wine dinners, each hosted by the wine maker themselves.
Perfect for bubbly fans, this month’s event will see Champagne Deutz present a selection of their legendary Champagnes. Each will be expertly paired with an exquisite five-course menu from the team at Margot.
What’s on the menu:
• Carpaccio of red Sicilian prawns, buffalo mozzarella and basil/ Deutz Brut Rosé NV
• Roast monkfish with pancetta, sauce of purple potatoes and tender stem broccoli/ Deutz Brut 2012
• Strawberry, vanilla olive oil, basil ice cream and caramelised black olives/ Cuvée William Deutz Brut 2000
One of the oldest members of Champagne’s prestigious Grandes Marques houses, Champagne Deutz of Aÿ, France, has been making outstanding Champagnes since its foundation in 1838.
