Get The Dish: Radisson Launches New Breakfast Menu With Nutritionist Sophie Bertrand

Discover breakfast with a tailored (and tasty) edge thanks to Radisson Hotel Group’s new UK menu campaign with nutritionist Sophie Bertrand

Let’s talk about the B word. You know the one. Breakfast. It’s time to ditch the usual plain old toast and scoop of cereal when waking up in a hotel. What if you could start your busy day with a meal perfectly tailored for your schedule instead?

RHG breakfast campaign

Whether you’re boarding a plane or entering the boardroom, Radisson Hotel Group’s new breakfast menu collaboration with accredited nutritionist Sophie Bertrand aims to offer guests far more than just a few boiled eggs. Instead, it’s just as educational as it is creative.

About the launch

Serving up to 90 breakfast items, there’s already a stack of options for guests to devour when staying at a Radisson Hotel Group property.

Looking to utilise this extensive array of food, the global hotel group have partnered with  Sophie for a new campaign to place more emphasis on the health values of its breakfast bounty and help educate guests on their culinary choices.

Founder of Sophie’s Healthy Kitchen, Sophie is a Registered Associate Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition and has a BSc degree in Psychology and an MSc in Nutrition and Eating Disorders.

Her background has shaped her fascination in the balance between health and food enjoyment – she believes food should fit around your lifestyle, rather than the other way around.

Together, they’ve created a range of creative (and delectable) plates designed to kickstart a morning.

These dishes cater to specific types of travelers – whether that be a long-haul flyer or someone who’s always on the go. There’s even something for the ‘breakfasteer’ who usually skips their first meal of the day.

What’s on the Menu

On the menu, the new breakfast ideas include: The Endurance Breakfast, The ‘I Don’t Really Do’ Breakfast, The Long Haul Breakfast, The Sweet Tooth Breakfast, The Nourishing Breakfast, The On-The-Go Breakfast. and The Recovery Breakfast.

There’s also the The Especially For You Breakfast, which encourages guests to order from the A La Carte menu. At no additional cost, guests can try a wider range of bespoke options including vegan choices.

After something special? Guests can ask for what they fancy if they don’t see it on the menu. If it’s in the kitchen, the chefs will happily whip it up.

An example of the dreamy dishes…

1 The Endurance Breakfast

The dish: Power-packed and long-lasting, this spread includes thickly-sliced toast with bacon, mushrooms, roast tomatoes and a boiled egg, accompanied by porridge topped with berry compote, seeds, and mixed fresh fruit.

The traveler:: This breakfast is ideal for guests that want to feel satisfied and full for longer as oats provide slow-releasing energy. Plus, by adding fruit and seeds guests will also increase their protein and fibre intake.

2 The Sweet Tooth Breakfast

The dish: Can’t resist a sweet treat? Devour a stack of fluffy pancakes from the A La Carte menu, topped with berry compote and honey or chocolate spread.

The traveler: This is perfect for a sweet tooth fix. This option offers a good source of carbohydrates, providing fast-releasing energy to give guests a boost, as well as natural antioxidants with fruit.

3 The Long Haul Breakfast

The dish: Dig into smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast topped with chives and Greek yogurt, complemented with a refreshing fruit and oat smoothie.

The traveler: Frequent flyers, step this way. Salmon and eggs are an excellent way to receive essential vitamins that are key to the diet, while wholemeal toast and oats will ensure guests are benefitting from slow-releasing energy.

The Long Haul Breakfast is great for guests with a long trip ahead or a day of adventuring.
