Renowned Japanese restaurant Dinings SW3 are hosting a rare culinary collaboration with Japanese brewer Konotomo this September – and you’re invited to the table
Calling all fine dining fanatics! Kicking off on Tuesday 24th September, renowned Japanese restaurant Dinings SW3 will open its doors to welcome in Konotomo, a family-run independent brewery from Japan, for a special four-night-only collaboration.
The series will commence with a highly exclusive 12-seat Omakase dinner on the 24th September hosted by Konotomo’s leading female brewer, Miss Arisa Kimura and Dinings SW3’s Executive Chef Masaki Sugisaki.
For those that can’t make it, this will be followed by a special menu running from Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th in addition to the restaurant’s a la carte.
The relationship between Dinings SW3 and Konotomo is well established, with the brewery exclusively making Dining’s two own-label sakes.
This September they will take this partnership to a new level with Masaki and his team drawing upon high-quality ingredients from the famed Tajima province of Japan, where the beloved brewery was first established 300 years ago, to develop standout dishes for this four day visit.
Innovative creations are set to include: ‘Miso Koji Bouillabaisse’ – using Konotomo sake, miso from the Tajima province and Cornish seafoods – and for a limited time only at Dinings SW3, sushi will be made using the local rice, water and vinegar of the Hyogo region.
These dishes will be paired with specific sakes available only in Japan, showcasing the depth and range of product from the independent brewery.
Providing an intimate gathering around the central sushi counter, the Omakase evening on 24th September will highlight the best that Dinings SW3 has to offer as a renowned contemporary Japanese restaurant.
As well as exceptional Japanese cuisine, guests will also be given the unique opportunity to hear Miss Arisa Kimura speak through the philosophy of her family’s brewery, and her own experience creating traditional hand-crafted sake.
