For the first time ever, the world-famous rock ’n’ roll hotel Pikes Ibiza have just announced an exciting new summer collaboration with beautiful Marston Park in Somerset, just two hours by train from London.

An award-winning boutique hotel set in the hills of northern Ibiza, far more than just a property Pikes is a true creative hub and a trailblazer in Europe of arts and culture. Stand out yearly events include The Pikes Literary Festival (hosted by screenwriter Irvine Welsh) as well as photographic exhibitions and collaborations with high end brands including Rockett St George, Terry De Havilland and Agent Provocateur.
Marston Park meanwhile, is a playground for creativity with grown up food and drink, set around a Victorian lake between Frome and Bruton in Somerset.
Each weekend promises to offer the ultimate escapism with a sprinkling of Ibiza magic, delicious food, gorgeous music, luxury glamping, and a glimpse into the magical world of Pikes, all framed by an ancient English countryside landscape.
Over the three days there will be an eclectic programme of performances and holistic and creative workshops, wellbeing sessions, cultural talks, activities as well as artists and DJs such as Sally Rodgers, Faithless DJ Set and Bushwacka!
For the foodies, much-loved London chef Richard Turner (ex Hawksmoor, Meatopia, Pitt Cue & Co) will be creating culinary magic for the weekend’s al fresco banquet menus. Guests can also indulge in artisan picnics, wood-fired eats, as well as local food trucks where there will be a melting pot of local flavours and globally influenced cooking ranging from Latin, Greek or Northern Thai street food to a wood fired pizza oven making rustic sourdough pizza.
A lakeside bar will be open every day until late, or alternatively, take a scheduled beer and nature pairing trail and discover secret micro bars that will provide delicious cocktails and juices.
When it comes to a place to rest one’s weary head for the night, forget the usual muddy tent experience. Accommodation is available in 25 fully-furnished luxury bell tents set up as stay / work creative spaces. The ‘Canvas Studios’ (sleep 2-3) with double beds, wood-burning stoves, fire pits, bespoke lighting, crisp linens, fluffy towels and bathrobes, artists easels, a guitar and Bramley bath products. OR for a larger option (sleeps 2-4) book one of the five ‘Canvas Suites’ with an additional living area, rustic four poster bed, vanity unit and private lakeside terrace.
