Diary Dates: Gleneagles’ Legendary Summer Garden Party Returns This June

Mark your calendar of the return of Gleneagles’ majestic Summer Garden Party, taking place this June with a number of tennis sensations, luxury refreshments and elegant action

Let the social season commence. Tickets for the hotly anticipated return of Gleneagles’ majestic Summer Garden Party, will be on sale from Friday 28 April, offering famed tennis stars, quintessential summer fare and warm Highland hospitality. Set on the picturesque Gleneagles estate, this exclusive afternoon will be hosted by Broadcaster Stephen Jardine on the 17 June and will see a match of mixed doubles at its centrepoint.

Tennis sensations Johanna Konta, Naomi Broady, Xavier Malisse and Thomas Enqvist will be at the net for the best of three sets. The afternoon’s proceedings will be overseen by tennis luminary Judy Murray OBE as umpire, following her debut in the role at Gleneagles last summer.

Guests will be spoilt for choice when it comes to refreshments, including a spectacular afternoon tea, celebrating the bounties of Scotland’s natural larder with a cascade of fresh Scottish strawberries. And to sip alongside, guests can choose from a whole host of options including classic fruit-packed Pimms and mini-Moët & Chandon. After all, nothing says summer quite like a glass of bubbles.

When Gleneagles first opened its doors as a majestic summer season destination in June 1924 during the golden age of rail travel, the great and the good would flock to this glorious playground in the Ochil Hills, arriving in style at Gleneagles’ very own train station.

Since then, the 850-acre estate has become a must-visit destination for world-famous country pursuits and exceptional family fun, with over 50 outdoor activities to choose from, outstanding spa and wellness facilities and unmatched gastronomic experiences.
