Dalloway Terrace Unveils New French-Inspired Seasonal Oasis

Ideal for a dreamy dining experience, Dalloway Terrace at The Bloomsbury hotel has unveiled a seasonal transformation with bespoke cocktail menu and afternoon tea, in collaboration with perfumier Miller Harris and Champagne Telmont

Stunning installations, special cocktails and a fragrant afternoon tea – what more could a modern bon vivant wish for? Dalloway Terrace at The Bloomsbury hotel has announced an exclusive partnership with British perfumier Miller Harris and Champagne Telmont for its latest seasonal wonderland – encapsulating classic French style from tip to toe.

Having been transformed into a immersive hideaway with a colourful and cosy installation by award-winning floral designers Early Hours, the central London venue echoes the essence of Miller Harris fragrances and the effervescent freshness of Telmont Champagne.

From deep flourishing rouge tones to warm purples, Dalloway Terrace’s new look will exude a seasonal atmosphere and will evolve from an autumn hideaway to a winter oasis as the seasons transition. The restaurant’s new look encapsulates the classic French style intrinsic to Miller Harris’s fine fragrance and at the essence of Telmont’s exquisite bubbles.

Working closely with the Champagne Telmont team, Giovanni Spezziga, General Manager of Dalloway Terrace, has devised a series of cocktails (each priced at £15), harnessing Telmont’s ancestral ‘je-ne-sais-quoi’ for Champagne cocktail – each one created with a namesake Miller Harris scent in mind.

Tempting tipples include the Rose Silence; with The Botanist Islay Dry Gin, Muyu Jasmine Verte, Telmont Grande Reserve Brut, freshly squeezed lemon and egg white, the Tea Tonique; made from The Botanist Islay Dry Gin, Autumn Spices Formula, Clementine bitters and Absinth essence as well as Oud Éclat; with The Botanist Islay Dry Gin Mancino Secco Vermouth, Orange bitter and Grapefruit Rapeseed Oil.

Go all out and indulge in a newly revamped Afternoon Tea menu alongside. Devised by Dalloway’s Head Pastry Chef Chris Dodd, expect flavours that complement the Miller Harris signature fragrances. Sweet and scented treats include tangerine cream on an orange and vanilla biscuit, Earl Grey and green tea jelly with green velvet sponge, delicately scented rose and almond sponge topped with rose cream and a rich and velvety dark chocolate mousse with spice liquid centre.

The selection of savoury sandwiches includes marinated cucumber & cream cheese on pain de Mie; egg and cress mayonnaise on a colourful brioche bun; poached salmon and crème fraîche on farmhouse bread and brie and plum tomato on multigrain bread. Traditional afternoon scones set to impress include the vanilla & lemon and golden raisin which will be served with Devonshire clotted cream and Scottish raspberry jam.
