Dalloway Terrace Transforms for Fashion Month with Olivia Rubin and Lillet Spritz Collaboration

Florals have never sounded quite so fashionable. Ideal for a stylish pitstop, Dalloway Terrace has been transformed into a petal-inspired oasis this month in collaboration with designer du jour Olivia Rubin and French aperitif Lillet

Combining style with spritz, from now until 7th October, designer du jour Olivia Rubin and French aperitif Lillet are taking over one of London’s most iconic outdoor dining terraces, Dalloway Terrace at The Bloomsbury hotel to create a vibrant and colourful slice of paradise – smack bang in the centre of the city.

The immersive installation has been created by the award winning floral designers Early Hours, with the experience featuring an exclusive cocktail menu and delectable new afternoon tea offering (let’s face it, who doesn’t love pastries with poise).

Picture ruched tulle, bold flowers including explosions of dahlia and clouds of hydrangea, channelling the ombré effects of Olivia’s designs. From dark purples, rouge tones and orange accents, Dalloway Terrace’s new look will be a contemporary take on traditional autumn shades.

General Manager of Dalloway Terrace, Giovanni Spezziga has worked closely with the Lillet team  to create a series of playful cocktails (each priced at £15) including the Lillet signature spritz The  Olivia, made with Lillet Blanc and London Essence Tonic; Rosalie with Lillet Rose, Mitolo framboise, rose water and rose syrup and Celeste with Lillet Blanc, Crème de Cacoa Blanc, raspberry  and Supasawa; and Flora with Lillet Rouge and hibiscus syrup.

On the edible front, Dalloway’s Head Pastry Chef Chris Dodd and his team have given the much-loved Afternoon Tea  menu an injection of colour and some ooh la la elegance. The sweet toothed can indulge in a Lemon Velvet Parfait; Pink  Grapefruit Tart with star anise meringue; Lillet Trifle and White chocolate & blood orange  profiterole.

The selection of savory sandwiches includes Tonic-marinated cucumber & cream cheese  on pain de Mie; Hummus & plum tomato on multigrain bread; Copper Maran egg & chive  mayonnaise on pain de Mie and Chapel & Swan smoked salmon & lemon crème fraîche.

Even the scones have been revamped; the Tahitian vanilla & lemon and golden raisin scones will be served with Devonshire clotted cream and Scottish raspberry jam.
