5 Ways To Find A Wellness Fix In London Right Now

From swanky pool sessions to state-of-the-art fitness studios and free workouts, here’s where to find the best wellness fixes in London right now

1 Unwind with a soak at AIRE Ancient Baths

As the new year unfolds, the colder months extend an invitation to embrace well-being, focusing on both internal and external health, peace, and prosperity. Ideal for a dip of reset, thermal baths have been integral to well-being routines for millennia, with the Romans popularising them across Europe as a cultural practice. Nestled in the centre of Covent Garden, this day spa is ideal for self-indulgence and intimate retreats – perfect for time to yourself, with a close friend or a deeply romantic day with someone special.

Beyond mere cleanliness, baths served as spaces for socialising, restoration, and healing – a concept that endures in the essence of AIRE. Whether addressing physical or mental well-being, AIRE Ancient Baths serves as a revered sanctuary – a timeless haven devoted to nurturing the delicate balance of body and mind.

Amidst the tranquil ambiance, there exists a rare opportunity for introspection – a moment to pause, reflect, and recalibrate our fast-paced lives.

3 Break a sweat with Enmeï Studios

Enmeï is opening the doors of its first London studio at the border of Chelsea and South Kensington, bringing a uniquely holistic fitness approach to those who value both mental and physical strength and well-being. Rooted in the Japanese philosophy of “Enmeï,” meaning longevity, the studio embraces the belief that fitness should enhance life both short and long term.

The studio’s low-impact, high-intensity classes combine the best elements of Pilates, bodybuilding, and endurance training to maximise results. Each session focuses on controlled movements that push muscles to failure, scientifically designed to burn calories both during and long after the workout, supporting a healthy, sustained lifestyle.

A dynamic schedule of classes is designed to focus on different muscle groups each day. This rotating approach ensures that each workout is structured to maximise results whilst allowing recovery for previously targeted areas. This results in balanced, comprehensive conditioning and helps avoid overuse injuries, promote muscle growth and improve overall strength and endurance.

The studio is founded by Regina who has spent the last 10 years in the fitness industry across three continents. Together with a group of investors and co-founder – all close friends and fitness enthusiasts, including a former SVP at Equinox Group in New York – Regina and her team of coaches had for long been missing the type of Pilates-inspired workout they experienced in the US. Regina and the team at Enmeï want to do things differently, combining a scientific approach to training with fun, motivating coaching, music up and lights down.

Enmeï offers memberships for those who are ready to commit which unlock a range of exclusive benefits, from discounted classes and early schedule access to retail and partners discounts, and the chance to bring a friend along for free every month.
