Spring by Skye Gyngell Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Exclusive Collaboration Menus

Renowned London restaurant Spring by Skye Gyngell is marking 10 years of culinary success with a trio of exclusive collaboration menus

If you love delectable (and sustainable) cuisine, it’s time to clear the calendar. This autumn, Spring by Chef Proprietor Skye Gyngell, will celebrate its 10 year anniversary, and 5 years since becoming single use plastic free, with three exclusive menus in collaboration with notable chefs Ravneet Gill, Julius Roberts and Melissa Hemsley.

These partnerships will throw a spotlight on the ‘Scratch’ concept which Skye first launched in 2017 with the aim of drawing attention to the ever-growing issue of food waste, utilising daily offcuts from the kitchen and creating delicious dishes from them, repositioning these as the star of the show.

Spring, located in the beautiful New Wing of the cultural hub Somerset House, first opened in 2014 to much acclaim.

A celebration of seasonal produce and sustainability, the menus at Spring are guided by award-winning chef Skye Gyngell who, this year, will invite three renowned chefs and friends who share her ethos, to create unique Scratch menus with a portion of the proceeds going towards food waste charity The Felix Project

Kicking off the anniversary collaborations, Skye will team up with British Pastry Chef and Author, Ravneet Gill on Saturday 21st September. The following month on 26th October, Chef and Content Creator Julius Roberts will step into the kitchen, followed by Chef and Author Melissa Hemsley on 9th of November to finish the series.

Skye Gyngell, Chef Proprietor told The Wordrobe: “I am thrilled to collaborate with these three incredible chefs to celebrate Spring’s 10th anniversary. These partnerships are a perfect way to showcase our shared passion for sustainable, seasonal cooking and to create memorable experiences for our guests. It’s a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our journey and look forward to the future with renewed inspiration and creativity.”
