Park Chinois Launches The Cellar Series

Mayfair’s most luxurious Asian restaurant, Park Chinois, is launching The Cellar Series this January, an exclusive series of monthly wine dinners hosted in collaboration with award-winning winemakers Orin Swift

If you’re already done and dusted with Dry January (*hic*), then save time (and room) for the launch of this new monthly dinner series at Park Chinois. Commencing on the 23rd January and hosted by Master of Wine, Mark Pygott, the inaugural event will be followed by monthly dinners throughout the year.

Led by legendary winemaker Dave Phinney, Orin Swift has gained an illustrious reputation as an iconic wine house, renowned for their ability to bring art and storytelling to life not only through one-of-a-kind  labels but the bold and expressive liquid within the bottle.

The dinners will be hosted in Club Chinois – inspired by the glamour of 1930s Shanghai supper clubs & cabarets – with guests welcomed by the gentle sounds of the resident pianist and a glass of sparkling wine before embarking on the bespoke five-course menu that pairs each course with one of Orin Swift’s spectacular vintages.

Dishes have been expertly curated by Executive Chef Liang Koon Chuen and will  showcase the finest ingredients, with highlights set to include Cantonese-Style Lobster served with Scallop, Razor clam, Asparagus and Rich Yolk Egg and XO Sauce, Chilean Wagyu Bavette with Ginger Sauce Koshihikari Rice with Morel Mushrooms and Peking-Style Crispy Bean Curd Puff, and  to finish a unique dessert. Vegetarian and pescatarian menus are also available upon request.

Ideal for wine lovers and gourmands alike, the evenings are poised to be a truly memorable addition to the Club Chinois portfolio.
