Based on true events, the film tells the story of allied Prisoners of War forced to build a bridge from Thailand to Burma. 3 Visit the home of big screen in LA LA Land
Home of the Academy Awards, Los Angeles and Hollywood are synonymous with movies. La La Land was one of the biggest films from last year’s Oscars and was set and based around the iconic city.
Although La La Land didn’t scoop Best Picture at the 89th ceremony, it did win five awards in total, with Emma Stone taking home Best Actress and Damien Chazelle winning Best Director.
