Zuma, the internationally renowned modern Japanese restaurant and bar, will throw their first ever New Year’s Eve party as they celebrate the start of 2020 in their Knightsbridge home.

Offering an exciting first for the highly acclaimed restaurant, Zuma’s Abu Dhabi resident DJ Lucas Moncorge will be flying in to play an eclectic live set from 10pm, whilst guests indulge in an unforgettable New Year’s Eve dinner.

Guests will be able to toast the chime of midnight in Zuma’s bar and lounge with a glass of Champagne in hand, or enjoy a cocktail from Zuma’s new winter menu, created by Bar Manager Pawel Rolka.

Pawel has designed a bespoke selection of seasonal libations, perfect for raising a glass to the end of the decade, including the Matsunoki Martini with Ketel One vodka, sake, pine, pineapple and chardonnay [£13.50], the Rhubarb and Almond Cooler with Don Julio Blanco tequila, rhubarb and almond cordial, cranberry, lime and prosecco [£13.50], and the Yakomizo Manhattan with Zacapa 23 Solera rum, chinotto nero, fig, sobacha vermouth and red wine [£13.50].

Showcasing seasonal, high quality ingredients with traditional Japanese flavours, guests can head to Zuma’s restaurant, which boasts an array of iconic dishes from the à la carte menu by Executive Chef Marco Calenzo.

Dishes will include Marinated black cod wrapped in hoba leaf [£39.50] and Spicy beef tenderloin with sesame, red chilli and sweet soy [£32.60], alongside a selection of fine nigiri sushi, premium cuts of assorted sashimi and the chef’s special maki rolls.

Bala Baya is treating guests to an all White Night, an unforgettable evening of Israeli-inspired feasting dishes, free-flowing drinks and a live DJ set till late. Paying homage to one of Israeli’s biggest cultural events, Tel Aviv’s White Nights ‘Laila Lavan Festival’ the evening is ideal for a night of Middle Eastern indulgence.

To round the celebrations off, and see in the New Year with a bang, Allegra at The Stratford hotel will be hosting a foodie New Year’s Eve party, with a special five-course tasting menu.

Dishes will feature the likes of Achill island oysters, lemon granita and pickled seaweed, Butter poached turbot, celeriac, champagne and caviar and a crowd pleasing main of Aged beef sirloin with caramelized onion tarte tatin, smoked bone marrow and horseradish.

Those dining from 8.30pm onwards will also be whisked up to the never-before-seen Alexander Gorlin Penthouse on the 41st floor, for 360-degree views of the London firework display where a glass of rosé Champagne to toast the chime of midnight will await them.

In The Mezzanine, cocktails and resident DJ Charlie Dark await as guests celebrate late into the night.
