8 Enjoy a Riverside Roast at Fiume
The beloved Sunday roast has been given a suitably stylish Italian makeover by chef Francesco Mazzei at his Battersea restaurant, Fiume. He’ll be serving up his take on the classic Sunday roast, with diners also able to enjoy Fiume’s stunning views over the River Thames.
Guests are invited to sit back and relax with a glass of wine in hand and watch the chefs at work. The menu will change weekly, with Francesco taking inspiration from the fantastic Italian and British produce that becomes available as winter turns into spring.
Dishes on the day may include succulent whole roast guinea fowl with spicy Calabrian ‘nduja, or oven roasted chicken with a zesty lemon and garlic butter.
There may also be a tender leg of lamb cooked with salty anchovies, classic crispy pork with fresh apple sauce, or blushing-pink roast beef served with yogurt and horseradish sauce.
Post-main, there will also be a sweet selection of Italian desserts to sample.

14 Enjoy a chilled out night at The Chalet at Madison
Grab a scarf, it’s time for an enchanted outdoor sip at Madison. The rooftop terrace has been transformed into a winter wonderland until 28 February, bringing the après-ski scene to the city complete with festive winter warmer cocktails and sharing boards, live music and impressive views of St Paul’s Cathedral.

15 Experience an Oscar-worthy menu at CUT at 45 Park Lane
Head to CUT at 45 Park Lane for an exclusive Oscars Night menu, specially created by Chef Wolfgang Puck and executive chef David McIntyre to celebrate Puck’s 25th year of cooking for the star-studded event.
To accompany the meal, BAR45 is also offering a new cocktail ‘Shallow Negroni’, inspired by the hit movie ‘A Star is Born’ and taking its name from the Oscars nominated love song featured in the film.

17 Relax with Floral by LIMA’s ‘Retox’ menu
Bored of bland January diets? Peruvian hotspot Floral by LIMA in Covent Garden has launched a colourful new, ‘retox’ menu – filled with South American vibrancy and visual flair.
Available for lunch only, the menu has been created in collaboration with the group’s Head Chefs Robert Ortiz, Patricia Roig, and Instagram foodie, Licky Plate (@LickyPlate), known for his love of indulgent and satisfying dishes.
Feast upon a main course and dessert, with plenty of vibrant creations to try.
Must-tries include the main dish of traditional Venezuelan ‘arepa’ – a type of bread made using maize – which uses beetroot as a natural food colouring, before being stuffed with tender, slow-cooked pulled suckling pig, spring onion, charred corn and sweet pomegranate seeds, topped with plantain crisps and micro herbs (£8).
Guests can also order the indulgent ‘picarones’ – a stack of Peruvian pumpkin and sweet potato doughnuts served with scoop of homemade dulce de leche ice cream and chacana syrup – a traditional offering made from tangy molasses (£7).
Of course, no lunch would be complete without a little liquid indulgence. To accompany the menu, diners can order a wide array of cocktails from Floral by LIMA’s recently-launched basement bar The Lost Alpaca.
