Fine dining fanatics, it’s time to get sociable…

Taking place on Sunday 1 July, renowned chef Sat Bains, of two Michelin-starred Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham, is joining forces with chef Niall Keating, in his Michelin-starred restaurant at Whatley Manor to create a spectacular eight-course dinner.

Hosted in aid of Hospitality Action’s ‘Social Sunday,’ an initiative started by Jason Atherton three years ago, ‘Social Sunday’ helps to unite the UK’s restaurant community and help transform the lives of hospitality workers who find themselves in crisis.

This year, the concept is being taken nationwide, asking chefs and restaurateurs to join together on one day and support their industry. Other participants include chefs such as Tom Kerridge and Gary Usher.

Niall and Sat will present four courses each that represent their individual styles, as well as showcasing seasonal and local ingredients.

Having trained under Sat over five years ago, Niall said of the event: “I am thrilled to be able to cook alongside one of the most influential chefs in my career, and what makes it even more of an honour is that we will be collaborating for such a special charity with Hospitality Action.”
