The brand’s most eco-conscious collection to date, Timberland has unveiled its new sustainable Earthkeepers by RÆBURN collection – with pieces aiming to push of responsible design
Having announced plans to have a net positive impact on nature by 2030, Timberland has unveiled the brand’s most eco-innovative product collection yet. Introducing Earthkeepers by RÆBURN, a release aiming to push the boundaries of responsible design using include natural and recycled materials, regenerative leather and recycled down to create footwear, apparel and accessories.
From a design perspective, Christopher Raeburn, Collaborator at Large for Timberland, draws on his utilitarian and responsible design ethos to bring a consumer everything needed for a summer adventure – whilst packing light at the same time.
The designer commented: “The Timberland Earthkeepers by RÆBURN collection is really our pathfinder; an always evolving experiment to bring together responsible design, innovation and a unique archival approach to product creation. I’m incredibly excited about the FW21 capsule, which brings a more progressive edge to the Timberland brand while pushing boundaries as we work toward a greener future.”
The minimally-designed collection features bio- based GreenStride comfort soles, no-dye garments, ReBOTL fabric made using recycled plastic, and Tencel x Refibra fabric made of responsibly sourced wood pulp and recycled cotton. With pieces presented in a muted natural palette with pops of orange, the casual meets comfortable collection is both versatile and stylish, no matter the adventure ahead.
Highlights include:
- Earthkeepers by Raeburn GreenStride Edge EK+ Hikers (Men’s/Women’s): a lightweight lace-up hiker featuring GreenStride comfort soles made of 75% renewable bio-based material with sugar cane and rubber from trees, breathable ReBOTL fabric linings containing at least 50% recycled plastic, and uppers made with Tencel x Refibra fabric.
- All-Gender Earthkeepers by Raeburn Water-Repellent Parka: a parka responsibly made without the use of dyes and cotton that is 100% organically grown without chemicals or pesticides.
- All-Gender Earthkeepers by Raeburn Packable Camo-Print Anorak: perfect for rainy days, this anorak features an allover camo print and is responsibly made with cotton that is organically grown without chemicals or pesticides.
