1 Take gin-fuelled journey through the African Sahara with Mr Fogg’s summer safari

Embark on a palatable adventure of flavours and tastes throughout the summer months as Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration transforms into a setting reminiscent of the African Sahara.

Created in partnership with Whitley Neil gin, the immersive experience will have you entering a paradise of plants as you forage through the summer menu.

Be sure to get your tourist visa upon arrival, and of course no trip will be complete without having the correct vaccinations – luckily here they come in the form of tasty liquid libations.

Adventure awaits on this sensory journey for both the eyes and stomach from ‘The Big Five’ daring cocktail menu to the African inspired food dishes.

2 Embark on a gin foraging trail with The Botanist

Chin, chin! The Botanist have teamed up with a number of London’s best bars to create special serves in celebration of the most treasured day in the gin calendar.

Partnering with Boisdale of Belgravia, Opium, The Blind Pig, The Shrub and Shutter, The Little Yellow Door, Le Pont de la Tour and Jin Bo Law Skybar to offer guests foraged gin—based cocktails within some of the most stylish bars in the capital, The Botanist have event created a beautiful map to guide Londoners on their gin quest throughout World Gin Day.

Available in the bars from the 5th-9th June, don’t miss out on the Wordrobe’s tipple of choice: High as a Kite – a fluorescent pink cocktail produced by the experienced mixologists at The Shrub and Shutter.

This cocktail is a perfect combination of The Botanist Gin, belsazar rose, beetroot, hibiscus shrub and comes served with a packet of lemon balm and blueberry sherbet for added nostalgic fun.

4 Take a gin masterclass at the Ginstitute

The Ginstitute is the perfect experience for booze boffins wishing to brush up on their gin trivia.

Nestled beneath The Distillery hotel on Portobello Road, your ‘ginstructor’ will take you on a whistle stop journey through the history of gin before an interactive lesson in creating your own bespoke blend.

All mixed with copious quantities of testers and cocktails as the day progresses, you’ll ‘graduate’ with your newly created tipple.

If you want to take the experience one step further, why not book a stay at one of the rooms of the boozy boutique hotel – with rooms decked out with cocktail making kits and numerous bottles of Portobello Road Gin you’ll be giddy just thinking about it.

5 Go bottomless with Mrs Fogg’s

Raising the brunch game in the Capital, Mrs Fogg’s is serving up a bottomless brunch with Bombay Sapphire G&Ts and cocktails, alongside indulgent dishes with an exotic twist.

8 Rock the boat with London’s summer gin cruise

London’s first artisan gin cruise is setting sail this summer and it is sure to float the boat of every gin lover.
