Grab your favourite four-legged friend- the Grange Hotel in York is inviting pooches for a stylish mini-break filled with treats that are bound to get tongues (and tails) wagging
A luxury property in a Grade II listed building, The Grand Hotel is set within easy walking distance from the city centre of York and a short stroll from the River Ouse.
Made up of 41 individually-designed ensuite rooms set amongst Regency style décor, antique paintings, sash windows, rare racing memorabilia and a sweeping staircase, the hotel boasts incredible charm and character resembling that of a country house hotel.
The archaic property has just launched an exciting new array of dog-friendly activities – making it an ideal stay for a winter getaway with your treasured furry companion.
Firstly, all dogs staying at the hotel will receive a homemade Pooch’s treat bag along with a dog bowl for them to use during their stay.
For the ultimate indulgence, The Ivy Brasserie at The Grange Hotel will also arrange a pup-friendly breakfast made up of succulent pork sausages – whilst owners can enjoy dishes from the breakfast menu featuring locally sourced Yorkshire produce.
Dog-friendly ground floor rooms are within easy reach of the outdoors for doggie walks, whilst owners Jeremy and Vivien Cassel can recommend walks in the nearby area inspired by where they take resident dog Buster. Woof are you waiting for?
