St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys Hosts Rare Antinori Wine Dinner

Indulge with a night of all things gourmet at this special upcoming evening. Searcys will be welcoming one of the world’s most prestigious winemakers to St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar for a very special wine dinner on Wednesday 19th June – and you’re invited.

Renowned for their exceptional bottles, the Antinori family has been producing wine in Tuscany since 1385 – with 26 generations of uninterrupted family ownership making it one of the oldest wine makers in the world.

One of Italy’s most integral wine producers, Antinori has an important presence in Piedmont, Umbria and Puglia.

The family’s continuing legacy is such that Piazza Antinori, in the historic centre of Florence is where Marchese Piero Antinori still lives.

This June, heiress Allegra Antinori herself will host lucky guests for a delectable four-course dinner created by St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys executive chef, Colin Layfield and expertly paired with glasses of Antinori’s wines.

Featuring four exceptional courses, the evening will commence with the family’s new Franciacorta Tenusa Montenisa Cuvée Royale harmonised with a pre-starter of Portland crab and mango.

This will be followed by the legendary Cervaro della Salla wine matched with Cornish stone bass fillet, Wye Valley Asparagus and morel.

Next, their renowned super-tuscan red, Guado al Tasso 2013 will be paired with an indulgent main course of Herdwick lamb cutlet, braised faggot and potato terrine.

End the evening on a sugar high – devour  a luscious dessert wine from Piedmont, Moscato d’Asti paired with Kent Apple Tart and Cinnamon ice cream.
