I love a bit of fashion hunting, so I went late night jewellery shopping along the beachfront in Spain on our final night in paradise. We visited Jakarta, a little store absolutely bursting with necklaces, bracelets, novelty phone cases and most importantly, rings.
The selection was absolutely amazing – a candy shop of colour. I’ve been to Jakarta previously on past holidays in both Javea and the store in the neighbouring town of Moraira, and I simply love looking through their giant offering of rings.
This time, I decided to purchase two of the designs I saw – a quirky umbrella shaped ring, and a classic Tudor like (and loveably tacky) blue sparkler.
I love the unique shape of the umbrella design – ideal for adding a little bit of creative flair to an otherwise classic evening outfit. I paired the ring with a Topshop mock crock clutch, and Rimmel Lyrca Pro nail varnish in Coral Romance.
The second ring I bought was the below massive whopper of a navy blue set stone and surrounding glitz. It reminds me of a Tudor-esque style with its fairly simple design and heavy focus on the dark colour of the jewel- and it looks beautiful when paired with Nails Inc varnish in Motcomb Street.
For only four euros each, I think these two rings were an absolute holiday bargain. Adorable and affordable – now that’s my kind of fashion! 🙂
