Sopwell House Hosts Four-Course French Wine Dinner

Ooh la la! Join Sopwell House for a fabulous evening of fine food and French wine this September

Taking place in the luxury hotel’s restaurant, the venue will be hosting a one-off event with a menu carefully created by Head Chef Paul Soczowka. A beautiful country nestled in the heart of Hertfordshire, this is one fine dining event you won’t want to miss.

What’s more, each dish will be paired beautifully with some amazing french wines – including a glass of Taittinger Champagne.

Hosted by John Ferguson-Smith, learn the secrets of wine making as John shares details of each delectable glass.  John has been in the wine trade for over 20 years and has spent much of his career creating wine lists for some of the most iconic Hotel and Restaurant groups in the UK, plus training hospitality teams on their wines and how to engage with their guests to offer the best recommendations.
